“Aneka couldn’t be a better host. The loft had one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen, which came with farm fresh eggs! The hens that laid them were right outside the window. We brought our pups who enjoyed the yard when the chickens were in their coop. The house is minutes away from the beach and redwoods. We very much enjoyed our stay, it was quite relaxing!”

“The property is in a nice location. It is very close to the beach for great views, and low tide tidal pool exploration. It is also in a convenient proximity to the Redwood forests. We were able to explore the forest as close as 20 minues away, and alo went further along the beautiful highway 101 south for hours of amazing Redwood exploration. We had text and phone contact before the stay with the owners, and they were very nice and helpful with their suggestions for places to see, and what to……

“We had a wonderful experience at this property. The house was clean and well kept. The fenced backyard was perfect for our small dog and 2-year-old. Plenty of space for us to relax and beach access was a few minutes walk away. The manager made sure we had everything we needed and I'm sure would have been quick to respond to any issues, though we had none during our 5 nights stay. Highly recommended!”

“This rental did not disappoint. Everything was as described. Our daughter got married in the Redwoods and we needed a place that we could host a small reception. This property seemed way bigger than the square footage listed. The backyard and patio area were perfect for our small gathering. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils and cookware. The only thing we ended up needing to buy was an ice cream scooper. With that being said, we have stayed at other rentals that have coffee,……

“I have mostly good things to say, but the neighborhood was not great and no hot tub on property. Extremely clean, easy check in, very attentive owners. A local young man greeted us shortly after arrival, nice touch. We thought we left something behind and owners responded immediately. The inside is as described. Upstairs has very low ceilings. We had 3 adults and the owner reached out to us right away to make sure we were ok with that. However, the neighborhood is not great. Its in a rundown……

“This was a great home base, walkable to the Harbour with lots of amenities. The only unfortunate thing was the traffic. The bedroom is right above 101 and you hear braking and accelerating cars all night long. The owner does everything he can to minimise the noise with earplugs and a white noise machine, but we weren’t able to sleep much. If noise doesn’t bother you, this is a great find, definitely worth the price.”

“My favorite part was definitely the location where I could see sunset from dining table and walk across the street to the beach. Nice big garage to park vehicle too, as well as driveway parking. Nice little sitting area out front. Older home with darker bedrooms, but just sleeping there anyway. Too many great things to do outdoors! Didn’t cook much, but kitchen seemed well supplied.”

“Maria was a very communicative host and provided everything needed for our stay. The location was great and was the perfect place for exploring the coast and the redwoods! The house was clean and great for families with children with the park across the street.”

“We only stayed one night. The condo was very cute, clean, and well-maintained. Bigger than we expected too! The only drawbacks were the condo was on a busy street, and parking was on the street or in an open dirt lot. We were a little concerned with security/break-ins since we had some stuff stored in our car from our roadtrip and there were people out on the street late at night (I’m guessing homeless). Turned out fine though.”

“The property was wonderful. The home is tastefully decorated and provided everything we needed to cook our meals and enjoy our stay. The hosts were kind, accommodating, and responsive. I made an embarrassing mistake by not scheduling our stay correctly and the owners were very kind and understanding when we hadn't vacated when we were supposed to. Our only issue was when a neighbor was cutting down trees across the street early on a few mornings, which disturbed our sleep and was a bit traumatic……

“Just a couple of suggestions... it was challenging to make a simple pasta dinner as there wasn't a colander and no oven mitts that I could find. Not very many dishes, including no wine glasses that I could find. The bathroom door unlatches and opens from the draft of the front door being opened.”

“The property was just what we were looking for. Close to Redwoods and the coast, and it was a comfortable place for our family to stay. The enclosed backyard was a bonus for our doggy to be able to run around without her leash attached. ”
