"The house boat was beautiful, clean and the patio over looking the lagoon was very relaxing. There are manatees that visit too. :) The neighbors are very friendly, as is the staff. The kayaks and bicycles are included in the rental, which is fantastic. The location s very close to groceries and local parks. We took an airplane scenic ride which was the highlight of the trip. The small airport is only 3 miles away. We will come back to Yacth Haven !"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The property was nice and very close to the Long Beach Convention center. Basically, it only took 4-5 minutes to walk there from the dock. Additionally, there are several restaurants and a few shops in the immediate vicinity. The primary concerns were the number of homeless people surrounding the area and the somewhat limited parking for overnight accommodations. Overall, it was a memorable experience. "

"It’s an experience, it’s not a luxury stay. It’s sort of like staying in a camper with a septic holding tank that can get pretty smelly next to a working marina, with fish charters and a fish cleaning station. One morning we had to use a spare paddle to shoe away a stinky dead fish head so it wouldn’t get trapped under our unit and smell up the place. Staying on the water was unique but in mid May it would have been nice for more shade on the little deck. I’d save it for the slightly cooler...

"We had a wonderful stay! Deb, the host was very gracious and helpful. Our greeter, Sherry was there to meet us and, also was very helpful and informative. The location cannot be beat as we were able to walk to the aquarium and the north end for great dining options. The house was quiet and beds were comfortable! It was nice being gently rocked to sleep! All in all, a short stay for us due to flight cancellations, but a very nice and enjoyable stay!"

We had a great view of the downtown area and yet were in a more tranquil environment The boat was just as pictured and very comfortable for the 4 of us. Chad was so nice. He met us at the marina, showed us around and even gave us some excellent recommendations for dinner nearby . We took him up on both restaurants and we’re not disappointed! "We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. The boat is docked in a channel off the main river so not a lot of boat traffic and the currents...

"This place is perfectly suited for our needs. Beds, amenities including an ice maker on the patio and my boat tied up on the water. I really liked not having to worry about tides having my boat moored up. Rates were easily acceptable, and the property owner/operator is top notch on communication and whatnot. 100% would recommend and stay again."
