"Fabulous property, great location but still in a quiet area. The apartment was ideal for us, a couple. Maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the spiral staircase but for us it was ideal. A very lovely apartment, great communications from owners. Some fantastic shops a bars in the immediate area and just a short stroll into the old town (Vieux Ville). We drove. There is a public car park 5mins away. Ignore Google maps which shows a free car park at end of the road… it’s not,...

It's central location was very convenient and lots of fun to people watch in the square from the balcony. It can be loud at night but it didn't bother us as we came prepared - it really just added to the ambiance of Old Town Nice. Val was readily available for any questions and recommendations."

"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

The owner’s representatives at Pickaflat were not only kind and understanding but extremely accommodating and patient to answer our questions. The apartment was great, clean and the bed very comfortable but the host/staff gave us the feeling that we were among friends. Oh, and the best part - there was an iron! "

"I stayed here for 6 nights for the Lemans race. It was a little far for that, but was the closest i could get because I was late planning my trip. But it was only a 30 minute drive on s beautiful country road, so it was ok. The apt./room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was a good size too. As the listing points out, there is no elevator, so carrying large bags up the stairs may be an issue for some people. Also, the listing doesn't say there's no air conditioning, which I...
