“I had known about Steamboat Inn for years since my wife attended several retreats here, but I'd never stayed there until now. It was amazing: the flowers in full bloom, the cool breeze out on the deck outside our cabin, the fantastic dinner menu, the beautiful river and hillside. The owner, Melinda, was a first rate host and made all of us feel like family. I will definitely come back here often since it's such a beautiful location and so close to hiking and waterfalls.”

“The lodge owner JoAnne came to meet us as we pulled up in our truck. She gave a quick tour of the facility and our room. Very welcoming of our small dog, Bill. Invited us to a potluck on site that evening. There was an awesome musical trio of JoAnne’s friends. They played folk and rock tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s until about 9 pm. Very cool! Room and our restroom very clean. Bed very comfy. Best of all a fresh loaf of banana bread awaited us in our room. Very cool!”

“Very personable host. Johanne was very warm and welcoming. Loved loved loved her! Upon our arrival, she had a brownie loaf for us and even gave us some fresh farm eggs and bread for breakfast. Nice touch. We weren't around for the weekend events they tend to plan for the lodge, but would have if able. The unit was very clean and well laid out, was perfect, and great deal for the price. Only issue I had was during our stay, it was very hot. We would leave with A/C on and host husband would enter……
