“Location was great! Short drive to sharks cove, which we did multiple days…food trucks close by! Great central location for all our adventures…no air but if you keep the screens open, great breeze. Comfy beds, great decor and a nice patio and backyard to move around in. Would definitely recommend!”

“Comfortable studio apartment above the main residence is located in a typical, residential neighborhood about a fifteen minute walk to the beach. There are no amenities within walking distance. The adorable little town of Haleiwa is a fifteen minute drive and is full of tourist amenities. The four large dogs on the property do bark during the nights and early morning hours but not continuously. The “orchard” is a dozen trees that do bear some fruit despite being neglected. “The location is wonderful! The rental is clean overall but could stand some TLC. We asked the owner for bath soap as there was none (also no shampoo) and he bought it to us. We were told there was an outdoor space to hang out, like a porch or lanai, however there was not one. This might not matter to some.”

“The website on this property is accurate. The ocean view and sounds of the surf in the winter are what makes this property quite desirable, although please know that the waters are not conducive to swimming in the winter (true for most of the North Shore of Oahu). However, given the premium price charged we were very disappointed with the poor maintenance and supplies. Some of the screens were torn and the screen door to the lanai does not work properly. “There was more than enough room for the nine of us. All rooms are good sized plus there's an outdoor shower and water closet. There's all you need in the kitchen but the ice maker did not work. Loved having the washer, dryer, clothes line and laundry supplies. Location to beach was excellent...walk out the door, turn right walk about 3 houses down to sand and water. The condition of the surrounding houses were poor/good and everything in between which made an authentic neighborhood and a welcome……

“Nice house, nice neighborhood, but further away from the beach than some of the pictures make it seem. Also, the backyard photos were taken in .5 magnification, so it makes it look bigger than it is. Didn't care for the rundown looking resort being right in the view and also could not enjoy the ocean or view while sitting down, the railing was 6 inches tall and right in any view from any of the seating to see the ocean. I would recommend taking that railing down so you actually have a view. We……

“This was the most perfect location, accommodation, and host! We used to live in the area so coming back home and getting to stay here made everything that much more enjoyable. “This house was perfect for our blended group of adults and kids. The first morning I took my nephews snorkeling we saw sea turtles and they were so excited and a couple days later my niece found a stingray. Watching the sunsets every night while drinking a beer taking a heated outdoor shower was amazing! The kitchen was a great size for our big group for meals. The back covered patio was where we spent a lot of our family time relaxing and hanging out.”

“This property has the most amazing view from the Lanai! This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen and it is deserted most of the day.The sand is luxurious and pristine.
