“Unfortunately the hot water was out and I had to take a cold shower. Apparently I wasn't the only guest who had this problem. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, it was difficult to get a plumber to come out and fix it ASAP. The room didn't have central air, but the window unit and ceiling fan did an adequate job keeping the room cool. Overall the service was good. I liked the rustic look of the knotty pine walls and the wooded area the lodge is in. ”

“The cabin was very nice, I liked it due to it not being attached to other cabins. Everything inside was very nice, it did lack a sink in the kitchenette area. The coffee pot is extremely small and takes a very long time to brew a cup of coffee.”

“Owners/ management were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were mostly clean and beds were comfortable. It was a last minute stay as our other reservation fell through. Lodge was affordable and convenient distance from our day trip at Kalahari. Their best selling point is definitely their 5☆ service!! Would stay again!”

“The highest praise I can give is that with a family group of 24 people, 12 of them being children under the age of 12, we all were sad to end our weekend get together. Even with one of the days being chilly & rainy!!! Everyone was looking forward to doing it again. The lodge itself was huge, the property is even more expansive! Everyone had plenty of space to be together or to be alone. The house was perfect for our large group. It was very nice, clean and cutely decorated, yet I never felt like……

“Hemlock Point Lodge was a perfect fit for our group of 15 guys for a bachelor party getaway. There were plenty of sleeping spots, and the home is large enough for everyone. The heart of the home (kitchen/living room/game room) with a view of the pond was amazing, and the decor really made you feel like you were in a lodge. The covered back porch was great for escaping the rain, and cooking on the big grill. The pond and all the water stuff was a ton of fun. Overall, an amazing stay, and people……

“We loved the cozy living area and the kids enjoyed the game room. The beds were all very comfortable which was a plus when looking for relaxation after a day of hiking.We enjoyed seeing the elk and deer on and around the property!”
