"The owners were very kind and helpful. Chef John for breakfast that was fabulous. Pool area was very clean, lovely property well kept and quiet. We will return ASAP and as often as possible. "The property has a lush grass, fountaings, an amazingly warm heated pool with a deck and chairs/tables. We stayed in the main building with a pool view right next to the back door to the office which served a continental breakfast of bagels, muffins, cereal, english muffins, hard boiled eggs, milk, OJ, coffee, tea, etc. The room smelled so very clean upon entry and the toilet was sealed. It was very very clean. We had a studio with a fridge and microwave. A coffee pot in that room would have really been nice. There was a hairdryer and iron however. TV channels not that great - wish hotels would upgrade to better cable/TV service in general but who watches TV much when your near the beach! We also had our own private parking lot at the beach half mile away with our own private roped off beach (right across from their other place Hotel Maria) There is a bathroom right there on the lot and food places all over. I had scallops and clams from a local shake - amazing and fresh. The parking lot seemed open at night for star gazing on the beach. The staff was friendly at every interaction and always helpful. Beach towels provided at pool and the beach which was great! We look forward to going back again soon when the water is a bit warmer - the heated pool saved us when we wanted to swim since the ocean was a bit too cold for us! On the way out we visited Mystic and ate at the Engine Room which was great. We had a wedding to attend so also Kudos to Stongington Vineyards! "

"My spouse and I stayed at this property from May 19-22, 2024. The house is still exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. We found the property to be very clean with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. There is a large screen, smart TV in the larger bedroom on a rolling stand which can be easily moved into the living room. The TV is equipped with Roku. Internet speed is good. The showers had a nice strong stream and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had modern appliances and was exceptionally well equipped. As an added bonus, there is tasteful art displayed throughout the house. We used the house as a base for travelling to wildlife refuges. There are three refuges within 15 minutes of the house and one that is about 25 minutes. The beaches are 5 minutes away as is the Watch Hill Historic District. The house is in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet except for some traffic sounds from Winnapaug Rd and the occasional private airplanes from the nearby airport, neither of which bothered us. Best to use the driveway on the Knollwood Drive side of the house as the driveway from Winnapaug is REALLY steep. Andrea and Tom were very gracious hosts and responsive to our texts. Andrea was kind enough to arrange an early check-in for us. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to our friends."
