"Lovely house in a beautiful area. Patio in the back yard is a perfect place to sit, have coffee and watch/listen to nature. We had many colourful birds, deer, coatis and agouti. The pool in the front was convenient for cooling off ( be advised that it is about 5 feet deep but does have a shallow area for children). The house was well stocked and we appreciated having the washer dryer and supplies available. The area has many walking paths and we enjoyed our walks to the various shopping...

"We received an email from them as we landed at the Cancun airport to indicate our room wasn’t available, the replacement accommodations they offered looked in no way comparable. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!"

"Overall good value for the money, but the management gave up on the beach upkeep. Seaweed is a known problem in Mexico but in most places hotel at least tries to clean it up. We were hoping to spend some time on the beach but were quite disappointed. Also, Palace Elite is VERY pushy in offering their membership, which completely smashed our desire to come back to any Palace hotels. "
