“This is a good hotel in an amazing re-imagination of obsolete infrastructure into a welcoming social space. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the bar is a great space to hang out.”
“Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. Easy to walk around downtown from hotel, very convenient.
Only qualms were temperature and noise. Window doesn’t open and thermostat not good at cooling room—too hot all night, even when turned down. Street sounds reverberate up so bit noisy overnight. ”
“Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the mattress. It was awful! The bed sunk in the middle so bad that neither my husband or I slept well.”
“This old building with great character offers lovely updated rooms and a private living room outside the door— comfortable seating, quality art and so much old-school charm.
The Gilded Unicorn restaurant in the basement was charming. Great food and drinks too.
Only negative—the other two eateries advertised on the premises are currently closed for renovations. ”
“The staff was fantastic ! I would definitely suggest staying here as long as you don't mind the train going by every so often. And the river front and shopping all within 5 minutes of walking.”
“The hotel was good enough for short stays. We stayed in La Quinta the night before in Montana and it was more updated, a few more amenities in the room and the breakfast had more selections. The area around this hotel in Spokane is definitely more sketchy but it is convenient to getting to the expressway and an easy walk to the downtown. ”
“You wouldn't realize the hotel is riverside, but the accessibility was easy. The indoor pool and hot tub were as always amazing. Staff was very accommodating and even allowed us to hang out in their super comfortable lobby while we planned our next voyage on the road. ”
