Pros: nothing
8 charge to use the pool. We were sent to a room with the door open and filthy. We walked out.

Hotel is in need of improvements badly

We started in one room but ended up in another so my granddaughters could have WiFi. We got a larger room, suite, for the same Price but the sleeper couch was horrible! The couch was literally nothing but springs! People at front desk were super nice!

The staff is very nice, but the Hotel itself is a dump. Dark and smelly, AC units that don't work right, refrigerator didn't work, shower wouldn't drain, TV remote control didn't work and the front desk was helpless to solve any of it. Do you want another room? No, I don't, because I doubt another room would be any better. The dining area and food was good though and the room, such as it was, was clean. Go somewhere else first.

Nice hotel but dated. Staff very accommodating and the restaurant served a great meal. Under new ownership so would expect to see updates.

There was no air conditioning, roof tile missing. Had to wait two hours to check in. Had to change rooms to a room with no air again one light bulb... All outside doors proped open, not safe

Hotel under construction. Halls and walkways and windows very dirty. Wish I would have paid $5 more and stayed at one of the other hotels. Traveling alone, did not feel very safe.

The room was not clean when we arrived, there was dog food on the bathroom floor, and mold in the shower. During the day between the two nights, housekeeping did not clean our room or give fresh towels, empty trash or make the bed.

Cons: Most everything
Location: We went to the Great Sand Dunes N. P. which is about 30 miles away.
Wall paper falling off of the walls, poor amateurish job of caulking in the bathroom, very noisy bathroom fan, sink drains very slow. The pool was closed. New restaurant open in the hotel. Country Kitchen. I think everything we ate for dinner came out of a can. Breakfast was better. The only thing I could say is that it was close and convenient. This place clearly was not ready for prime time.

Pros: Close to The Great Sand Dunes National Park
Cons: They could make sure the advertised facilities (including room keys) are available.
First to say the staff remained calm and apologetic however, on arrival we were informed we could not have a room key because the Future Farmers who had stayed previously had not returned enough of them! We were promised one later but it never materialised. We were then informed that the Pool facility was closed for refurbishment which had been the reason for choosing this hotel in the first place. Having been let into the room we discovered the wifi was not available, apparently because they had a lot of students staying who were overloading the system?? The TV in the room was so poorly tuned it was practically unwatchable. We complained at check in, we complained later in the evening, the duty manager informed that as I had prepaid with Expedia they could not discount the rate. Eventually he told me that he would ask the restaurant manager to discount our breakfast if we ate in the following morning. (Breakfast was extra and supplied by an altogether different company so I'm sure they thank him for passing the problem on). To be fair the shower and bed was fine but we were disappointed by the missing facilities and the recompense offered.

Needs a Facelift

Okay place. Could use some repairs and upgrades..Worn furnishings and carpet made it feel unclean.
