Nice location, clean but noisyPosted May 20, 2015
In the middle of everything in Amalfi. Nice friendly staff. Clean. Very noisy, cleaners start bashing furniture and shouting while cleaning (starting at a very early hour in the morning including Sunday) You can hear the guy next room snoring like he is sleeping in the same room as yours. Breakfast included but terrible. Comfortable bed.

Lovely quiet locationPosted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Quiet, central, clean
Cons: Not sure? Liked it as it was. Maybe improve the roof garden.
Location: Plenty. Bus trips to nearby towns, coast, Capri. Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum etc
Up an alleyway and very close to the lovely main square of Amalfi. Very nice breakfasts, though not cooked but just what was needed. Very nice restaurants down side alleys near hotel. May options of things to do advised by helpful staff.

Jederzeit zu empfehlen für Ausflüge optimal. Frühstück super. Das einzige Mankosehr hellhörig.

A quaint hotel, with view of St. AndreaPosted Nov 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was my second time in Amalfi, and I made the right choice in staying at Hotel Amalfi. The location was excellent. The hotel was right in the center of town, and so easy to get to the bus station, the waterfront, and restaurants. The breakfast was far greater than any hotel I stayed. I would definitely stay here in the future.

In the centre of townPosted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: In the centre of town. Roof top terrace.
Cons: Variety of choice for breakfast
Location: Buses to nearby villages. Ferries to Positano etc. Walks in the surrounding countryside but wear walking shoes and take maps. Ravello - lovely gardens
In the centre of town, close to restaurants, attractions and the sea/harbour. Town closed down about 10p.m. but it was late season. Expensive transfer from Naples to Amalfi but very good drivers both ways over narrow, switchback roads. Suitable for a short break.

Great location!Posted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel Amalfi was a great location for staying in Amalfi. A great hotel at a great value in a great location! The service was great. The breakfast was wonderful on the terrace. We had our own little patio which was nice too. If you need to check out early be sure to let them know the night before!

Hotel sehr zentral, dadurch stadtgeräusche.Posted Oct 25, 2014
Gute Anbindung an alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Meer in 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse sehr angenehm. Allerdings recht einseitiges Frühstücksbüffet, für Kurzurlaub in Ordnung! Service zuvorkommend und freundlich! Sehr gutes Mittelklasse Hotel!

2 Nights at Hotel Amalfi in OctPosted Oct 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is hidden, behind the main pedestrian and vehicle route. However, the hotel is located in the heart of the Amalfi coast and township, which is close to the various points of interest such as the local church, beach-front, tour operators and various cafes/ restaurants and shopping from the locals. We stayed for two nights, and were there for a break from our hectic tour of Italy, it was not disappointing, provides what coastal towns can provide for. The hotel itself has various rooms on offer, some have balcony's, whilst others have great views. The hotel is oddly designed and lodgers can expect to leave the main building to get to their room, which is still part of the hotel establishment. Was confusing at first, but as soon as you locate your room there is no need to bother with other areas, apart from the roof-top breakfast area. Our room had three beds, and a great bathroom with shower, it had a balcony. Communicating with staff was easy as they have a good level of understanding. As we were driving from various cities in Italy it was essential that we had parking for the nights we where there. Hotel Amalfi does have parking available, but it is limited to 6 vehicles, and can depend on size. If there is no availability, there are various parking garages to use too, but again the staff are happy to sort that if pre-arranged.
