“Very good experience”

The Puffin Inn appears to have an older and a newer wing. We were in the older wing. It was simple but clean and comfortable, and we have no complaints. The staff were cheerful, courteous and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice but far from lavish. Appreciated the guest computer with internet capability in the main room.

The price was very affordable, and for the price there are quite a few ammenities in the room.

“Fishin' for Puffin”

I used that title because there was a question about fish boxes. I guess the native people travel with them. I stayed at this hotel back in the 90's. It was very run down then. There's been alot of renovations and it seemed like a very clean hotel this time and a nice place to stay.

“Puffin was perfect!”

We arrived in Anchorage and only needed to stay somewhere for 1 night. We picked the Puffin off the computer for its value and the free shuttle service...we rented an RV and they gave us a ride to the depot the next day. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! The hotel was in great condition and our room was really large, super clean and in great condition. They provided transportation downtown for sightseeing as well as in the morning to the RV depot. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast service was better than we expected. I would most definitely stay here again!

We stayed in an all-suite annex of the hotel, at no extra charge, so we were very happy.

I was thoroughly impressed with Puffin Inn. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, quiet and best of all, affordable. They have a computer with internet access for guests, which I found to be especially helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers shuttles to and from the airport which was great. It was a clean, up to date facility.
