Hotel close to our destination

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: The colour of the hotel building.
Cons: Pretty well everything.
Location: our only purpose for being there was to attend a funeral
Foyer of hotel, so cold employees wore coats and no one would answer room service or desk. Clock broken. Heat in room could not be adjusted for comfortability and bathrooms were ancient with water spraying all over the bathroom area. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Decent and affordable!

Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Excellent price and close to where I needed to be the next morning.
Cons: Internet connection did not work.
Location: Red Lobster was two buildings away! The school I was interviewing at was only 3 minutes away.
While the hotel appears old inside, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was that while my laptop said I was connected to the Internet, I could not connect to any websites, nor would my phone download email. I got the opportunity to take the night off from work, so it was not all bad.

This facility was so filthy. I will NEVER stay in another Days Inn. The only plus for me was that all the staff was very friendly.

Did not match the pictures

This was pretty close to the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The building was literally falling apart, the furniture came apart with minimal use, and the walls were so thin that I heard the alarm going off in the middle of the night.

Not Good

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Dirty rooms and either very hot or very cold. There was a heater in the room but it was difficult to operate- there were not any temp. settings on it. I didn't use the shower because it was dirty, the workout room was filthy and had algae growing on the inside of the door. We arrived late at night and the person at the front desk was less than helpful. There was a problem with our reservation in the computer and He made it seem like a big inconvenience and hinted that he wanted us to pay for the extra room booked under our name, even though we had record of all of our purchases and that room was not on there. I will not go back here.

OK if you just need a place to crash for the night

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: Affordable price.
Cons: D├ęcor, bathrooms, better beds.
Location: Downtown Ann Arbor is just 12 minutes away with vast array of shopping, brewpubs, restaurants, music, and lot of activities on campus.
Free continental breakfast was overrun with a football team I town for a jr high tournament, so not much picking left when I arrived there around 8:30 am. Bathrooms need updating. Beds are pretty worn out.

A dump!!!!!!

Posted Nov 8, 2014
The hotel was old and in desperate need of repairs! I booked the hotel over the phone, and the sales agent made it seem like the hotel was close to capacity, there were 3 cars parked there. I have never stayed in a hotel that filthy with ceiling tiles missing and chipping paint.

One night stay

Posted Nov 7, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly. It was very convenient and easy to find. Parking was plentiful
Cons: Mattresses, water pressure, remodeling staff.
Location: It was right near the highway exit and easy to find. Several restaurants nearby. Shuttle to Michigan game onsite.
Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room itself was disappointing. The mattress was REALLY soft, to the point that we sank into it. Also, remodeling had been done, but clearly not by a professional. Wallpaper was hung over repairs that hadn't been sanded, caulking was on the shower walls where it hadn't been wiped off after caulking around the tub, we could see through the paint on the bathroom door and there was dried paint covering the door handle. The water pressure was low. It also appeared that the breakfast did not get replenished. It did the job, but I wouldn't stay here again.
