Noisy room, wifi didn't work

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: It's a block from the beach. It was inexpensive.
We chose the motel largely because of its wifi in rooms. Be aware: It didn't work in the rooms -- only in the lobby. The room was dark, dank and EXTREMELY noisy. People were coming and going outside our door all night -- 4:30 a.m. was the latest set of people I heard talking outside our door, and someone was dribbling a basketball just outside at 5:15 a.m. I was unable to sleep even though we ran a white noise machine. Oddly, the carpet of our room was wavy and bumpy. The motel is unfortunately on a stretch of road with several strip clubs covered with images of busty, scantily clad women. Not very family friendly. Breakfast was fine and the staff were nice enough.

Not very clean. No pool. Air conditioning unit made a lot of noise, which made it hard to sleep.

never again

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: comfortable bed
Cons: get a new front desk clerk
Location: nothing within a mile of the hotel except take out restaurant
the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, the only issue that I had- when I called one week prior to check in I was informed that I would be able to get an early checkin time I was travelling by greyhound and the bus was coming into atlantic city at 4:10 am when I called from the bus depot upon arrival, I was told that they were booked solid, check out was not until 12 and I and my travelling companion did not have a car or place to go we ate breakfast in the local hospital cafeteria and spent 5 hrs walking up and down the boardwalk with our luggage on our shoulders we called again at 11:30 and was told no check outs arrived at the hotel at 12:30 and was greeted with room not available and was laughed at by the front desk clerk the site manager was very nice and have the cleaning staff prepare our room immediately but was very annoyed at being lied to and laughed at never again will I or any friends or family stay at this hotel again

Best friends trip

My stay overall was an 8 out of 10. The area/exterior of the hotel look a bit rundown but the room was surprisingly clean! Not a stray hair, mold stain, bed bug, or other disaster in sight. The AC was practically new and worked well. If you do stay here try to get a room on the top floor in a corner. I had room 221 I think (no foot traffic outside or noise). There is also ample parking. The breakfast included was initially a plus, but all that is available is waffles, muffins and coffee/tea/juice. This hotel is extremely close to Tropicana (down the block), but about a 10-15 walk on the boardwalk from the other casinos. There are safes in the room, which is great. The rooms also have a fridge, coffee machine and microwave.

Acceptable rooms, horrible stay

Posted Jun 3, 2014
The rooms are renovated and clean, but some of the people who stay at this motel made our stay horrible. Noises all night.. We had people arguing outside our room at 6AM etc. We were worried about our safety. If you can stomach this, the motel is perfectly fine. I would rather pay more and not stay in such a motel.

Don't let the name of the hotel fool you

It was actually pretty nice compared to what we were expecting - clean room, clean beds, enough towels for everyone, functional TV and microwave, and parking was only $5 a day. Right next to the Trop and the beach is a good location.

Awful place to stay

Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we got there the man at the counter told me that I "could not count" because there were going to be 4 people staying in the room and the reservation was only for 2 (it was a last minute change). He charged us 20 extra dollars a person as well as a 5$ parking fee for one car and 10$ parking fee for each car after. The door to our room was already open when we arrived. They refused to give us another room. I would never stay here ever again!
