It is a good place to stay particularly with a very supportive hotel staff. They go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. But they do not provide lunch and dinner and the location is not good enough to dine out.

About me: me and hubby travelling with 3 kids 2, 7 & 8. Good: the room is clean, the bed is comfy, we took 2 rm apartment however we decided to put the 2 older kids on sofa and we moved the extra mattress out. There is a balcony but no view. Below is the pool and in front of our balcony is a piece of vacant land. The breakfast is simple. The place is more like b&b than svc apartment. It's service is good and fast. There is a 24-7 convenience store across the road. The place is quiet. I like the peace. Bad: - we have to take a cab to nearest beach (doesn't matter much cos we are travelling with kids anyway & they tire easily furthermore the roads are busy) - The lobby has no air con. So when we eat, it gets hot & stuffy. - in the room There is a kitchen counter but no stove. Only electric kettle,fridge & sink. - But the TV channel has the kids program like cartoon network. - The wifi is inconsistent, though. Overall is ok. But if u want somewhere more convenient and more closer to the happening areas, have to pay more and opt for beachfront like hard rock, etc.

Location: location was central to waterbomb park and legian
It was quiet due not many rooms so there was no issue in getting seats at the pool or during breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic with friendly service.

room was very nice., but we booked for 6 people for 7 nights cause after 3rd night we would be joined by my wife, her sister and 2 kids ,when we got there there was one double and one single bed , when we informed them of this the response was suddenly not good english until my wife who is indo. but doesnt look it interviened and then it was bad luck for us as fully booked. After3 nights we had no choise but to move hotels with no refund or remorse at all, so we moved and had to pay again, surrounding area is terrible ,no footpaths so to speak so you take your chances on the road . Only convenience store is close but we noticed underground carpark was a green swamp alive with mozzies as was our room , Iv been to bali dozens of times over the years and will continue to stay in beautiful nusa dua as i always have and not try to save a couple of bucks NOT WORTH IT.

The hotel exceed our initial expectation. We found that the staff was particulary helpful and ever so friendly. The room were in excellent condition. Ut was clean and well maintained. Our only comment was the quality of breakfast that was prepared. Hotel F&B manager could be more creative with the menu rather than basic toast & cereal breakfast

The hotel itself and the rooms are good. We had a couple of maintenance issues (leaking aircon, water flow, power failures) and the rooms could do with a bit more attention (e.g. the room safe deposit box was not bolted down). We had a 3 bedroom penthouse and stayed for six nights. Our water supply failed most mornings, meaning that we could not take morning showers. The power supply to our room tripped several times in one evening. The location is fine if you don't mind getting taxis everywhere, but you may not like to walk out of the front door to the beach or shops because there are no pavements and the road is very busy. This would be OK if you are a couple or single traveller, but if you have children it could be a problem.

Value for Money - Great Staff

We had difficulty finding a hotel to accommodate seperate bedrooms for our 15yr old son and 10yr old daughter. So we booked the Penthouse suite and was amazed at the cost and space of the rooms. We ourselves had an ensuite bedroom which was lovely. The staff were wonderful and very friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast mainly consisted of egg/rice/stir fry so this could be improved with more variety to include toast (which they did provide) butter and jam and maybe cereals for children. Our room was 403 and we were not bothered by the traffic noise because the beds were so comfy with great pillows however some parts of the room could do with small repairs (tap/cupboard door). Also the mirrored door of the ensuite was a bit dusty but overall the cleanliness was good and the staff were always happy to clean at your request without intrusion. As for the location our walk to the beach was a bit stressful due to the surrounding neighborhood which is in the process of development (rubbish dumped with unpleasant smells) but once on the beach you could easily walk to Kuta. My suggestion would be to operate a twice daily beach transfer to drop off 10am and collect 4pm with plenty of time to dip in the pool. The pool was lovely and clean and the sun was on the pool all day until about 3pm. The staff played a huge part in our enjoyment of staying at the Sara Residence and should be praised. We would happily stay at the Sara Residence again and would recommend it.

Very nice apartment style accommodation

Pros: The hotel was great for our bigger family who were on a budget.
Cons: I think the breakfast could definitely be improved.
Location: By taxi it is close to shops, restaurants but not really by walking.
We had two families staying here, one family of 5 in the penthouse and one family of 3 on the next level down. The rooms were both very nice, very clean with great decor. The view, the busy main road and the location however were not the best. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We had a small baby with us who they all adored and would take turns holding which was great as it meant we could eat our breakfast. A high chair would have been good but we got by thanks to the staff. Breakfast was the same everyday with about 5 meals to choose from. I think we were all a bit over the menu by the end of our stay. Some fruit would have nice I think.

The breakfast is very ordinary. Ok if you like eggs. Too far away from anything if you don't like walking. The staff are very nice and helpful but the pool area is very ordinary even though it looks nice on the photos.

Worst Hotel breakfast ever!

Pros: The driver who hire his van near the hotel.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Not bad...close to 66 beach
Worst Hotel breakfast ever! 2 minute noddle and egg as fried noddle and egg! No butter for toast!!Pool is not kids friendly as no gradual depth increase and rooms are smaller than photo illustrated. Staff not trained well enough and lacks basics.
