Lodges at Canmore

Great hotel - nice, clean room, friendly staff! We stayed there one saturday night, to get out of the city. It was a coupl friends, and we went out to party. Lots of fun!! We would definitely stay at this hotel again

The lodge was very nice. with underground parking and excellent location

Canmore is a great location, however, the Lodges of Canmore are not well maintained. Carpets in our room were badly stained. Wall could use a repainting. Will not return.

Room had a single pullout couch....not what I booked. However the staff was EXCELLENT getting us a different room and did not charge us extra.

We have spent 5 days in this hotel and no cleaning was ever done. No one emptied the garbage or made sure we had enough soap, shampoo, bathroom tissues, etc. It was mentioned upon reservation that cleaning would be done after 3 days, but it was not the case for us.

The actual condos and rooms were great and while the custmer service at the front desk was frendly, we felt that more could have been done in our situation. I was travelling with a group of friends and two people made booking for 2 bedrooms condos. I had called during the week and left a message to see if condos could be located together (at least within the same building) as we were all staying together. When we got to the front desk, they said thay did not get that message and that our rooms were not even in the same building. I didn't understand why they couldn't move someone else who had not been there to check in yet but it didn't appear that it was even looked into to see if we could be moved together. We were just told no. We went to the condo right at 4pm to check in as we had plans to go out for dinner. We were not able to check into out room until 5:30pm which didn't leave us enough time to get ready for dinner resevration and we had to cancel our dinner reservation. Again, even though the front desk was aplogetic, I was surprised to hear that we couldn't be moved into a room that was rerady for check in. The condos and ameneties themselves were very good.

Very nice place to stay. Clean, unique layouts with a very neat theatre room to enjoy a move in. Highly recommended

I am just going to say one thing: Zero cleanliness.

A bit disappointed after reading stellar reviews. Room was falling apart, no pride of ownership. Garage door didn't work, car door was damaged due to the card reader. Hot tub was cold, when we called to get it fixed, there was no reply, assume it was fixed because it was packed 1 hr later so we never used it. Too bad overall.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Cougar Lodge in " Lodges at Canmore". We reserved 2 suites with 2 bedrooms each for 8 of us. Very nice and quiet. Suites had everything we needed and were very clean. Comfy beds. Nice spacious rooms. Good price. We will definately be back.
