Charges for Wi-Fi and car park

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Hotel nice would not give it 5star car park 18 euro per nite and wifi charges. Food costly in bar. V clean. X comfy If you can get a resonable rate Its Great but have got nicer 3star hotels. But enjoyed the stay

Great food, but no free wifi

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Awesome restaurant for dinner meals. Pleasant staff with a relatively decent location...if you don't mind walking for 5 to 15 minutes depending upon your destination. However, no free wifi is a little ridiculous nowadays. They were charging 15 pounds for 24 hours.

Car park

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Cons: While there was free Wi-Fi in the lobby and bar it was very poor quality. Wi-Fi in your bedroom cost a ridiculous £15.00. Wi-Fi should be free.
Location: Very convenient for city centre etc
Just a word of caution. The multi-story car park next to the hotel is fairly expensive (even with a small discount from the hotel and rather tight when it comes to manoeuvring your vehicle. I had a C class Merc (hire car) and I would not have liked to try to get anything larger into the car park without bouncing off the walls. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was reasonable and a fair price.

Well appointed hotel ideal for exploring Belfast

Posted May 8, 2014
Pros: Good location; quiet, clean rooms; friendly staff .
Cons: Evening meals
Great hotel. Would use again as ideally situated. Excellent breakfast. However, did have a disappointing evening meal with poor service, missing side order and tough lamb.

Good clean fun

Requested and given a river room view, which gave great views of Sampson and Goliath! Good location for town and river; my brother got married @ city hall so very handy! Good deal on room with 33% offer made it more affordable than I presumed the city break would cost for 3 nights. No breakfast as felt tad overpriced and used cafes in nearby area.

Nice hotel, good location with a view of the river

Pros: That it is dog friendly.
Cons: Breakfast - it was perfectly adequate but could be exciting.
Location: Very close to the river and Victoria Square.
Very pleasant staff. We were able to take our little dog with us, which was great.

Weekend trip to Belfast.

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: see above
Cons: To my mind, nothing.
Location: Do your research before you go. . There is also a superb Tourist Information Centre opposite the City Hall
This was our first visit to Belfast. We were invited to the wedding of a lifelong friends daughter. We choose a number of city centre hotels to go on a short list. The wedding was actually in central Belfast and although there were nearer and equally competitively hotels to the wedding venue, we chose The Hilton. The location was more appealing to us being sited right on the river will all that that has to offer. It was however in very easy reach of the city centre and all it has to offer. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with everything that you could need. We had an amazing view across the rive to the iconic H&W cranes and shipyard as well as out over the east of the city towards the countryside and Stormont Castle. The restaurant is very attractive with a good menu - we only used it for breakfast which was very good with a wide choice of dishes. The staff on reception were excellent, friendly and extremely helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay at The Hilton Belfast and it will be our first choice for a return visit.
