Close to City centrePosted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: Convenience to City centre
Cons: See above
Location: City our bus stop outside gets you to all places you would lie to see including the Titanic Experience
No dedicated car parking facilities. Have to use pay car park and trundle cases some distance to hotel. Hotel adequate but could use face some face-lift inside. Room a little tired but clean.

Great locationPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and the excellent location.
Cons: Maybe a flannel and a shower cap would be useful.
Location: Good location, near the Crowne liquor saloon, one of the oldest pubs in Ireland, next to Opera House, train/bus station. Short walk to shopping area.
Reception staff were very friendly and had good local knowledge of the city and surrounding area. The breakfast was very tasty, with a good selection of cooked food including vegetarian. There was also a nice variety of cereals and breads. The rooms are quite spacious with a powerful over the bath shower. The location of the hotel is great, a couple of minutes from the Europa bus station with access to the shuttle bus from Belfast International airport. Trains can be taken from within the station out to the coast. Also the hop on hop off bus stops right outside and is a good way of getting your bearings so that you can visit all the landmarks with ease. This is a good hotel particularly if staying for a weekend or short stay as you won't need to walk too far to get to most of the attractions.

Understaffed and unprofessionalPosted Sep 12, 2014
Hotel has everything you'd expect at this price but is severely understaffed. I arrived in the evening and the woman at reception spent ages apparently moving people around to allocate my room, even though prepaid. Then when my key failed to work - demagnitized without proximity to a phone or other device, mysteriously - found a lone young woman at reception - long line waiting to check in and the phone ringing. Last straw was toilet failed to flush. I called for someone to fix it - a matter of urgency given that I'd just used it - but no-one came. I tried to find the problem and flushed using waste bucket. Had to call again to wake them up to fix it. Seemed like it was being staffed by very inexperienced people - nice enough but too few of them. Having just come from the US the contrast is startling, and dire.

Location: Location excellent plenty to see shops restaurants and bars all very convenient
pleasant stay. good location for city centre, thought slightly misleading distance from Belfast central train station to hotel on foot.

Nice hotel central for City CentrePosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Have to have a key pass to enter lift making one feel very secure.
Location: Central for markets, shops, restaurants, sight seeing and airports.
Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Ideal venue for a one or two night stay in the City Centre and local to the airport. More functional than holiday hotel to relax in. Great for meetings, business and passing through. Charges for local car park are at a discounted rate.

Good central hotel.Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: The staff we meet went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, especially reception staff (Lauren & Amanda especially) and Sean in the restaurant
Cons: Housekeeping in the rooms could be improved - no teabags and beds hardly made.
Location: Central hotel with lots to see and do. Close to bus station for connections to airport.
The hotel served us well, breakfast was good value for money, dinner was very good and the location was ideal.

Good location, clean hotel but not inexpensivePosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: it was centrally located, clean & spacious!
Cons: The hotel restaurant was disappointing. The one night we dined in the bar, the available pasta dishes were overcooked and bland. But the staff were ni
Location: Central location. We walked to the Botanical Gardens and Ulster Museum, toured the downtown historical sites, the university. All walking distance
Great spot, right downtown, comfortable, spacious room with a lovely view of the Spire Cathedral. Staff were really helpful, providing maps and tourist info as well as arranging tours.
