Relatively close to airport; right next to busy hiPosted Jul 3, 2015
For the price, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Small and run down rooms. The hotel is situated in a suburb of Boston, right next to a 4-lane highway which remains busy throughout the night. It was very noise. The staff was great. The shuttle runs hourly between 4 am and midnight.

Served its purpose.Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Access to transportation and price.
Cons: Spruce up the public areas inside. Have real cream for the coffee!
Location: I was able to take the free hotel shuttle to the airport and get on public transportation to my meetings with ease.
I was attending a conference for work so only needed at place to sleep that that would allow access to public transportation. The location of the hotel and the outside left a bit to be desired. It was a little bit shabby inside. The room was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fine for what I needed and the only affordable place I could find. If I were traveling for pleasure, I would have been disappointed, however.

Rodeway Inn Needs to Improve its FacilityPosted Jun 14, 2015
Cons: The entire facility needs to be upgraded so that noise doesn't permeate the rooms.
Location: It is close to the airport but there is nothing to do within walking distance.
We stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Revere, MA to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The van driver was accommodating and pleasant as were the receptionists. The facility was shabby but the noise all night was dreadful. The air conditioner didn't cool the room adequately and there were sounds of slamming and creaking doors throughout the night. It is not handicap accessible so heavy suitcases had to be lugged up 4-5 stairs to reach the reception area. There are no restaurants or retail stores within walking distance though the receptionist offered to have the van driver take us into Revere for a meal. The cost was far too high for such a facility.

Low Budget PlacePosted Jun 11, 2015
Cons: The building needs to be completely refurbished and the furniture replaced.
The hotel staff kindly picked me up at the stroke of midnight in the shuttle, saving me a taxi fare--as the hotel is 15-20 minutes away. The hotel itself is tired and run down--and way overpriced for what you get. The room was clean, but the walls are thin, and the hotel is right on a busy road. Plus, there is no elevator. This is a last-ditch alternative, in a vastly overpriced Boston hotel market.

A dumpPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The clerk.
Cons: Virtually everything. On reconsideration, demolish it!
I had not expected a "hotel" in a rundown neighborhood, with no food service. When I asked the clerk about restaurants, she told me we could have food delivered to the hotel to eat in the room. There was no chair in the room. The sheets were old, the carpet had not been cleaned. There was no lobby and thus no place to read except on the bed. The clerk at the front desk was certainly very nice and accommodating--far more than the miserable place itself. The website misrepresents the hotel by calling it the Rodeway Inn Logan Airport: the place is probably 8-9 miles from the terminals at Logan, outside the airport in the town of Revere.

Noisy roomPosted Jun 5, 2015
Noisy as soundproofing not good enough to mask traffic noise

Overnight at LoganPosted Jun 3, 2015
Cons: Better accessibility to upper floors
Location: don't know
The hotel was much further from the airport than I was led to believe. There was no elevator which was terrible for me since I have muscular dystrophy. The shuttle driver was extremely helpful in getting our bags up to the 3rd floor, and the reception was also helpful storing our big bags till the morning. Actually the hotel is quite adequate, but was not good for me. The best thing was the staff, who were as helpful as anyone could want.

Convenient location but rundown accommodationsPosted Jun 1, 2015
The best part about this hotel is its proximity to the T and to Boston. Staff is very willing to pick-up and drop-off at the T. Other than that, our room was not well maintained. There was a big dark spot on the carpet in the bedroom and the A/C metal casing was smashed in from the top, making it difficult to make adjustments and keep the lid open. The shower dribbled water on your head and the light in the bathroom flickered as if you were at a disco. There were some spots on the wall in the bathroom that we could not be sure what they were. In spite of all this, we were there to attend a graduation in Cambridge and decided to stay another night rather than change hotelsWhen my sister-in-law extended her stay they gave her one rate for a room just like ours, but better maintained. When we asked to do the same, we were quoted a higher rate. They would not match the rate they'd given my relatives because they had only 3 rooms left. This reasoning I don't get. We did ask for something to be done about the shower and flickering light, but our request was ignored. We booked another hotel through Expedia for the extra night which was cheaper, well-maintained, and way more comfortable. We enjoyed the rest of our stay there.
