Hotel plein centre Bruxelles

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Situation géographique, vue de la chambre
Cons: ?

We had a room on the second floor overlooking the street..unfortunately there was a very noisy bar across the street that partiedhardy until five am...other than that, the location was close to the central railroad station, grande place...great for walking tours

Hotel very close to the grand palace

Posted Apr 4, 2015
This hotel is right cross from a 24/7 bar and you can hear people screaming all night. The room does not have iron/board, the phone is not working.

Conveniently situated hotel

Posted Mar 29, 2015
This hotel is very conveniently situated within walking distance of the central station and Brussels groote markt (the big square) and several of the other main attractions in the centre of Brussels. It's clean and good value for money. There is a breakfast room where you can help yourself at reasonable prices. The one negative point is that if you have a room on the front side of the building, you will probably be woken up several times by the noise of people coming out of the pubs.

Excellent hotel in perfect location

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: staff, location, room, buffet bar.
Cons: Sound proofing on windows?
Location: Walking tours excellent
Perfect location, helpful and efficient staff who are always available. Brilliant self service system. Wonderful view over the Grote Mark from our room on the 5th floor. The only draw back was the awful racket of revellers outside on the street which woke us up several times every night.

Central - lacking atmosphere

Posted Feb 6, 2015
Pros: The room was very big with a nice sized bathroom
Cons: The receptionist was a little unfriendly. She didn't seem to know the answer to my questions and directed me towards the internet in the lobby.
Location: Grand Place nearby is beautiful. Mannekin Pis just round the corner (blink and you might miss it). Metro is 10 minutes walk.
The room was very central to the Grand Place. The hotel didn't have much character. It was more like a budget motel. When I found the hotel via Trivago, I had asked for a hotel with car parking, but it does not have a car park. I am not sure whether this is the fault of the search engine or the hotel supplying false information but the nearby public car park cost an extra €15 per night.

Great value and location

Posted Jan 27, 2015 on Hotels.com
This hotel was an excellent balance between value and location. We stayed here because it was nice and clean and near the Grand Place and the central metro station. The hotel gave us a loft style room where the sleeping area was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. The stairs were narrow and a bit challenging to navigate especially in the dark. The loft style made the room feel larger, but all the rooms are relatively small. We would have chosen a standard room given the choice. The bathroom was clean but the shower spilled water when we used it. No AC, but there are large windows to open. Temperature wasn't a problem for our stay in September. The street the hotel is on feels less traveled, but it is only a dozen paces from a busy pedestrian only street. No vehicle parking is available and you do not need one if you stay here. The hotel had selve service food for reasonable prices. We didn't eat at the hotel because there were many other nearby options. As an added bonus, there was a light show at 10ish on Friday/Saturday at the Grand Palace that we didn't know about until we stayed here. Every night at 4am when the bars close you will hear people running through the street shouting. The noise is always very short, but you can set your watch to it each night. If you aren't likely to visit the bars much yourself, you're better off staying a few blocks further from the Grand Place as it might be quieter. But who goes to Belgium without enjoying the beer?

Sans plus sauf si vous l'avez à bon prix

Posted Jan 22, 2015 on Hotels.com

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros:
