KEEP COMING BACK.Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: It has everything we need without going out. The staff was very friendly, and the food was really good.
Cons: Install a little gym, so the guest can keep up with their daily workout.
Location: The location it great; so close to the shops you can walk, or if you wish to tour the city, it's just a short walk to the sightseeing bus stop.
It has been two years since we last stayed at the Townhouse Hotel, and the experience was just as good as it was the first time. The staff was very friendly, and quite knowledgeable, not only of the hotel, but of Cape Town, and all that it has to offer. We are looking forward to returning with our family from the USA so they too can share in this great experience.

The best ever and would definitely book again.Posted Nov 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was one of the nicest rooms we have experienced. It was modern. Loved the big bath tub in the big room where one could relax and watch TV if they desired. There was a big glass window opening onto a private patio with no view and high thick walls. The bathroom was extremely modern and enjoyable.

Weekend trip to Cape TownPosted Nov 14, 2014
Location: See above
Whilst working for two weeks in Kimberley North Cape, a colleague and I had a weekend break in Cape Town. My colleague sourced the hotel as it was in the centre, well priced and looked clean and comfortable. The Hotel was in a very good position, taxi's were cheap and readily booked by the hotel staff, who were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were lovely with great views over the city. The breakfast was absolutely superb. We were a little worried we wouldn't get much done in such a short time in Cape Town (we arrived Friday pm and left Sunday at 17.00) but we packed loads in. Table Mountain, Robben Island (booking advisable) Bazbus tours to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Shopping and tea at the V + A Docks and a superb Seafood meal at Panama Jacks.

Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: Wifi could be better in the room
Location: In the centre but near some streets that are rough in the edges
Good, clean rooms and staff helpful. Breakfast was great. Wifi spotty. No gym.

no internet and noisy and smelly roomsPosted Oct 6, 2014
I had no internet in my room, plus the shower smelled. Before that I was in a small 1-person room (which is very small) next to the elevator, in which it was difficult to sleep due to noises from the elevator...

Great boutique style hotelPosted Sep 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
loved it! only slight draw back was that the CBD, whilst very central, was a bit scary at night and at the weekend but taxis are easy and cheap to get..The hotel was superb, great staff, trendy rooms, excellent breakfasts and GREAT food in the restaurant, do eat there! definitely will return..

Great Location and CostPosted Aug 12, 2014
Location: You can easily access multiple points in the city on foot from here. Bo-Kaap, Long St, District Six and the Museum, Center City Shopping, Jazz Halls.
Location was the highlight of this hotel. City Center Cape Town has NUMEROUS options for accommodations, but I think this site is prime. It's walking distance from Bo-Kaap, Long St, District Six and the D6 Museum, the historic Slave Lodge, Open air markets (3 within less than .5 mile), Wednesday Farmers' Market. The cab fare to the V & A Wharf is only ~R40 and to ~R50 to Table Mountain. Breakfast was provided daily and expertly served. The restaurant manager is a sommelier and takes his job very seriously without being too pushy. The staff was concerned for my well-being as a woman traveling alone and made sure to follow-up with me about traveling within the region whenever I left. Themba and Thelma were particularly helpful and gracious.
