Would expect more from a 4 star Hotel.Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The Bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Close to places I wanted to go.
Cons: Employee's that care about the guests, communication would help, don't charge to park when you are paying good money to stay in the first place!
Location: Location is great, right in down town by many good restaurants and pubs.
Check in and learn I have to PAY for parking ($17.00) not Valet, me parking myself, and was not told where to park at that, had to find it myself. The room was nice except for stepping on someone's fingernail that was left on the floor. The following morning Power went out at 9am, so no hot water and no power for my girl to dry her hair after a cold rinse. Come to find out they knew about the power because they had Maintenance scheduled for that morning, asked about compensation and was told they had free breakfast for those people that showed up. So why didn't they tell people that the power was going to be shut off? Would have been nice to know! The manager I spoke with sounded like she could care less about my problem with the hotel. Not a way to get repeat business!

Big dog friendly, and a great location.Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Pet friendly, good location, great hot tub w/views.
Cons: The only thing I don't like is the $17 per night parking. With the room rates being as expensive as they are, it's a bit much to tack on $17 a night.
Location: Easy access to interstate and highway into the mountains. Garden of the Gods is close, and Manitou Springs, gambling in Cripple Creek- about an hr.
This is a very pet friendly hotel. I travel with my rotti mix, Dixie, and we both highly recommend the Antlers Hilton. Very friendly staff. Great central location, and navigating the streets is fairly easy. Access to I-25 is close, and there is so much to see and do just within 15 min of the hotel. There is a nice grass area in the front courtyard of the hotel, and a very nice park directly behind the hotel. But word of advice when walking to it, you want to walk around on the sidewalk and go left from hotel. The incline is steep, and if you haven't adjusted to altitude yet will flat tire you out. They serve breakfast in the hotel restaurant off the lobby, and then can get a great steak, and warm pecan cookie, with ice cream. There are computers in lobby to use and print from if needed, and there is a fitness club if that's your thing. But perhaps the best feature of this hotel is the view you have from the hot tub and pool. There is a fantastic view of Pikes Peak and surrounding mountains. There are two view choices from rooms, mountain or city. The central location of hotel provides a great view of the happenings in town. You are within a couple blocks of various shops and places to eat. And I'll just throw in very comfy beds.

overpriced/not as advertisedPosted Jan 14, 2015
I paid a $101 ($120 after taxes) for a room woth a queen bed at a Hilton property. I got a room with a full sized bed, a run down bathroom with a shower and NO bath. The door was out of square, so light from the hall poured in all night. The hallways were noisy in the morning (bad insulation against sound). The only thing good I can see about this "upscale" place was the midight receptionist and security staff. I got turned around in the garage trying to find their reserved spots. At 1 in the morning, the receptionist became concerned for my welfare and sent the security guard to check on me.

Great place to stayPosted Jan 5, 2015
The pet charge a little high but otherwise a great stay. Glad expedia offered a great discounted price. Perfect location for all my needs. I had no need to pay for parking since parking is free on the street between the hours of 6pm and 9am.

New Years Eve tripPosted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed the gym & pool. The staff in the dining room were attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was yummy. Lobby is attractive.
Cons: Better housekeeping & maintanence in the rooms. Better training for staff on eye contact & prompt greeting of guests.
Location: Dinner at Edelweiss is fabulous. Lots of downtown dining choices. Old Colorado city has fun shops. A drive to Manitou Springs is a must.
We went to the Springs to watch the fireworks from Pikes Peak & figured best view would be from the Antlers. We have always heard great things about the hotel. It wasn't what we experienced. Front desk staff slow to acknowledge us. Room very dusty (baseboards, carpeting, flat surfaces, mirror over desk, lamps). Valance over drapery pulled out of wall on one side. Bathroom very small, with dark hair on floor, back of door at the bottom showed lots of water damage. Walls & door frames had gouges & scrape marks. Most lamp shades had cracks. Room needs updated.

Charming and lovely little gem.Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: The location can't be beat. Dining options are abundant, both in the hotel and within walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, too!
Cons: Housekeeping was our only problem. We stayed for two nights, and not once did they come by to straighten up bedding or change out towels.
Location: This hotel is close to a number of tourist attractions (Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs) as well as great dining options--both fine and causal.
This is the second time that I've stayed at this hotel, and I love it! The staff are all very friendly, and you can't beat the location.

Great getaway.Posted Dec 28, 2014
Pros: Beautiful, historic, nice location.
Cons: Once renovations are complete, nothing.
Location: Colorado Springs is near
The hotel is in the process of remodeling, which will increase an already great experience. I can't say enough about the helpfulness of staff. We attended a business function that was catered by the hotel. The food was more than excellent. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

okPosted Dec 16, 2014
The hotel staff were unfriendly. The rooms were not clean the tiles were cracked on the floor there were piles of dust and grime in the bathroom. The shower had spots of mold in it. Overall for being a Hilton hotel I was very unhappy. Rooms were muggy with a funny smell. Will not stay here again.
