On the Beach in SitgesPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location.
Location: Fantastic restaurants. For a small town it has amazing gastronomic experiences. Try El Trull and Komokieras.
We loved Sitges and the San Sebastian. It is right across from the beach, our rooms had a wonderful water view, the hotel is walking distance (easy) to everything and the staff was very helpful. The best place to stay in a wonderful place to visit.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, close to beach.Posted Sep 9, 2013
Cons: A reasonable priced dinner option
Location: Opposite beach. Restaurants nearby
Very expensive basement parking if you are driving. No English speaking tv channels. Other than that the location is excellent, rooms are very clean and the breakfast choice is good.

Would love to have stayed longerPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Location and ambience.
Cons: Breakfast time needs a couple more staff on duty when busy.
Location: Had a lovely evening meal in a little family owned restaurant called Zodiaco in Calle Bonaire -
We stayed (me, husband and son) just one night on our way to Barcelona airport from Valencia. Hotel was comfy, spotless and in a very pleasant location - near to a sandy beach and the lovely town of Sitges. We had requested an extra bed for our son and that was all ready. The walk along the promenade from the hotel to the town is delightful or you can choose smaller inland streets. It had a small swimming pool in a sweet looking garden. Unfortunately on the day/evening we stayed, there was a storm, so we weren't able to use the pool or the beach for obvious reasons but we had hoped to. However we were upgraded to a side on sea view with a balcony so we watched the lightening and storm over the sea which was not what we had hoped for but none the less the balcony view proved entertaining in a different way! It did clear up later and we walked to the shops and enjoyed mooching about the town and finished up having a lovely meal in one of the little side streets of Sitges. The breakfast at the hotel the following morning was good once we could get into the breakfast area - the door into the restaurant was temporarily locked because the staff couldn't cope with the amount of people??? it wasn't long, a couple of minutes, but seemed a bit chaotic, not really what one expects from a 4* establishment but once we were in, all was fine! they need more staff at breakfast I think?! Overall I would definately love to have a longer stay here when the weather is sunny - super place, thanks

Outstanding location !Posted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good stay with superb ocean-side suite. Excellent breakfast buffet. Most hotel staff were helpful and efficient, although not very friendly. Weak air conditioning. Fantastic beach just steps from the hotel. Sitges itself is very worthwhile as a destination with close proximity to Barcelona.

Not 4* but good locationPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: The location
Cons: Room. The rooms need upgrading with better with greater attention to detail plus improved wifi and satellite television (which was poor).
We have just returned from 6 nights at Hotel San Sebastian. The strengths are clearly its location - it is opposite the beach within 20 meters and ultimately this is what you are paying for - although the San Sebastian beach is also one of the most busy beaches is Sitges and during peak season it can get very crowded. The hotel also has a pool which was certainly very pleasant with lots of shading and although only a small pool and a small number of loungers it was very clean. The downside was the room which was very basic and given the cost of the room which was certainly four star (plus) prices you would expect much more. The room was very small and as we had booked an additional child's bed - which was placed sideways along the bottom of the two adult beds - meant the room was very cramped. Inside the room was very basic and the room we had had a very poor wifi connection - which meant you had to go into the corridor to get connected. Unfortunately the room we had also was next to the cleaners store so you would first have to navigate past the collection of trolleys and laundry that were left outside the room to find a space to get your wifi. Breakfast was satisfactory although a single temperamental coffee machine meant you often had to wait in a queue. The breakfast selection of fruit was good but the rest of the choice was limited and the small number of staff seemed very stretched. Having breakfast outside of the hotel facing the beach was however very good

Good character, but hotel slightly tiredPosted Aug 24, 2013
The hotel has a great location and great character. If you have a room with a view over the sea, the views are great and the location brilliant. For a 4 star hotel, the decor is tired, the rooms somewhat basic. For instance the towels are old and hard. Don't be in a hurry for coffee in the morning as the machine takes an age and long queues form! However it is a good boutique hotel which with a bit of TLC could become fantastic.

Great beach front hotelPosted Aug 7, 2013
Great location and right on the beach front. Partial sea view superior room was lovely. Balconies are very small but it was lovely to sit outside. Breakfast was great but extremely busy. Our overall experience was very good and we would certainly return to this hotel.

Ok hotel but not 4 starPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Close to beach.
Cons: Bathrooms need updating. Pool needs more beds
Location: Decent beach. Small selection of restaurants and bars but expensive!
Dated rooms, cramped with 3 beds in it. Breakfast dull. Pool ok but Romany people with only 7 sun beds. No sun after 3pm around pool. Close to family friendly beach. Expensive for what you get.
