Posted Nov 12, 2013Pros: it is on the main strip leading into Daytona and near interstate. easy access, to everything.
Cons: rooms need updated badley. I would also recommend rules for clientel, women and older people prefer to feel safe when traveling alone, and refunds.
Location: you have the airport,beach,nascar,dog track,shopping,dinning,golfing,colleges, its only a few miles from cassadaga,deland,st.augustine,orlando
Checking in was the best part of the experience. The desk clerk was extremely nice and efficient. Beyond that point it was all down hill. 3 rooms down from us there were 2 rooms of thugs hanging out with doors wide open music playing and drinking they were in and out of their rooms watching as we went to ours.not sure if they lived there or was just staying. The bathroom walls had something all over the granite not sure what, open soap wrapper behind door from a previous visitor and bed linen was old and worn. it was very old and run down. the pics online looked nothing like the rooms or surroundings, and I do mean nothing. I lived in Daytona for 31 yrs. and know the area well, I used to eat at the resturaunt in the front of motel that is currently closed down. needless to say we found another motel to stay in and did not stay here. There was no refund so I lost my money I had paid by booking through expedia. will never book ahead again ever through expedia.

Cons: New management and cleaning staff.
Location: Daytona speedway is nearby.
I felt like I needed to wash my hands anytime I touched anything but especially after the syrup bottles at breakfast stuck to my hand. The continental breakfast was so unappealing that I photographed it to show my friends. The phone in my room looked broken (missing buttons) but it turns out that I had no phone service because the wall jack was bad. The carpet needed to be steam cleaned and it was obvious that it was only vacuumed by the entrance. The old CRT television was a big box that barely fit on the counter. The bed linens were so worn and pilled that they needed to be replaced and the comforters too.

Cons: Move people to another area if bands and people in park lot noisy
Location: Great right off route 95 all amenities nearby
Band drums kept us awake night shower and toilet had problems but we only needed to be near hospital so ok for that
