Do not stay at this hotel!Posted Jul 6, 2014
We did not have an individual balcony...shared by others. There was a dead bug smashed and left on the wall. The closet door off hinges. The couch was so dirty....could actually see dirt on it and pubic hair left in sink. I wouldn't even have went barefoot.

Incredible view, ok roomPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: View, poolside bar, price
Cons: Patio furniture was old and not in great condition, maybe update room decor
Location: Lots of bars and restaraunts
The view and the convenient access to the pool and beach make up for the outdated room we had. We were surprised to have a large kitchenette with a full size fridge, glassware in the cabinets, and a stove. We were expecting our own balcony and then discovered we had a shared terrace with everyone else on our floor. It ended up being a positive because our room was right next to the stairs that led down to the pool and beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating . The housekeeping was never consistent with the daily visits. One day she came at 1:30 and other days we didn't get our room cleaned until 4 or 5. It was unfortunate that we always needed our room for showers/etc. when she was there. Not too big a deal. Also we only ever saw one housekeeping attendant our entire 5 day stay. Possibly the reason behind the late 4-5pm cleanings. It was either a coincidence or they are severely understaffed and that poor woman was incredibly busy. Our first night here the toilet overflowed onto the floor and we used all our towels to soak it up. A staff member stopped by and we told him we would need towels in the morning. We had to call the front desk around 2:00 the following day to ask for towels. Very friendly staff but it appears they need to hire more housekeeping staff. Aside from that the view of the pool and beach is worth the price.

Pretty Good HotelPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Views, Pool
Cons: Beds, and price of drinks at the pool were way too high
Great Pools, easy beach access, and beautiful views are in store at this hotel. The pool bar was pricy and the drinks not that strong but overall a good hotel. The rooms do need new beds, or at least ours did, room 408.

Nice hotel with Great ViewsPosted Jul 1, 2014
This hotel location is wonderful- right on the beach, close to Walgreens and grocery store. We got a room with a balcony ocean view. That was just excellent. The room was very comfortable. It had a kitchen and a full size refrigerator. That was a plus indeed. Having the parking garage connected to the hotel was an added bonus. Our floor (4th ) had direct access to the 4th floor of the garage where we parked our car. Made going between the room and car a breeze. One thing the hotel might need is to change their room carpets maybe to tile. It looked a bit stained and dingy. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stay here again

Great hotel for a familyPosted Jun 29, 2014
Nice clean room. Ocean view is a bit misleading as you have to glance to the right to see the ocean. (The windows face north and south). Wifi was good. Pools were great and clean. Nice bar too! We will be back!

I will NEVER stay here again!!Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: It was clean
Cons: better views, and more organized.
we arrived at 2:45 told our room was not ready, so we are told to use the pool then due to storms we had to leave the pool deck which is understandable but then went to indoor pool then were told we could not be there, at this point is is 3:25 our room still not ready we had to wait in the lobby and we had to demand a room at 4:00 pm then were told the room still was not ready but they would give us a better room we got to the room with our 4 kids and opened the door and their were people in the room!!! I was shocked!!! then we had to go back and got a new room. Then they waived the $16.88 resort fee and gave us a 4:00 check out but at 2:00 we were locked out of the room and yet again had to go back to front desk so they could reset the room key because they will not work after 12 pm why didn't the desk manager do that last night?!!! very disappointed in what is suppose to be a 4 star hotel!!

Loved the pool and beach, not the roomPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: great kiddie pool and beach access; parking on the same floor as your room was also a plus. Cons: room looked like it hadn't been updated since 1985, and it was tiny! The pictures are misleading. Fairly clean, but dust was on baseboards and doors. Beds not that comfy. Kitchen arrangement awkward (right beside bathroom sink). Big disappointment for my husband: wi-fi virtually non existent...a speed check revealed we were getting .46 mb download speeds!

Pros: Clean room, grounds and pool No beach driving.
Cons: Better restaurant with faster service. Room service.
Location: It is too far to walk to the Ocean Walk pier but it is a short drive.
We had six rooms. The restaurant is and very slow, I never saw more than 5 people in it. We've stayed at this hotel several times and just avoid the hotel dining now. There is no room service. You can order food through the tiki bar. There is no game room. We had asked for specific room request but each year no matter what we ask for it was changed when we got there. It is on a section of beach that people can't drive on, to me that is a plus. Some beds were newer and more comfortable. Some were old and worn. Over all we will stay here again but we expect less of it every year. I do not know what the "resort" fee is for as they offer nothing more than a pool and towels.
