Downtown Denver Hotel

Pros: Breakfast was good but packcake machine was pretty much always down for maintenance. Service was good.
Cons: Rooms are quite small. Our bathroom had a shower but no tub. No obvious place to park a car to unload/load.
Location: Using free 16th street bus, access to downtown stuff is easy.
No swimming pool. No microwave or fridge in rooms. Considering this, the rooms are pretty expensive. Place is under renovation making things somewhat inconvenient as well. OK place to stay but over priced.

Good, comfortable room close to everything

Pros: Location
This hotel was under pretty serious construction while I was there so it made getting up and down on the elevators a bit of a challenge - I could take stairs down but not up. I'm sure it will be nice once all is done. Room was fine and clean. I was there for a trade show so convention center within walking distance was nice. Very close to lots of restaurants, stores, bars, etc.

Good stay for a short trip.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice breakfast, clean room.
Cons: The water heat would be my first priority, but overall we were pleased.
Location: It was within one block of the 16th street walking mall and downtown Denver. We took a 30-35ish minute drive to Boulder or the Springs.
The hotel was tough to find coming in from 18th street, and we had to drive around before we figured out where to park to make it inside. The staff was very helpful with recommending places to go, see, and do, and were very friendly. The hotel is being remodeled, so facilities are great. The carpets were clean, the lobby was very tidy and nice. Breakfast was awesome in the morning. The room was small but comfortable enough for 2 people. If we had brought children, it would have been a very tight squeeze, but for our purposes it was fine. The in-room amenities were fine. I had to rinse the coffee pot out a little more than the house keeping had done, and the carafe was cracked on the bottom. We tried to order a movie from the DISH service, but every time we pressed "order" or "select" we would receive a request for an access code, which we never did receive help for trying to figure out. The hotel staff didn't know of an access code for pay-per-views. The shower was never cold, but the water did come in very hot and then get very luke-warm, which wasn't comfortable. So there had been a couple minor details ignored, but none that would rate room comfort under a 3/5. If I were to visit Denver again, I'd consider this hotel again for the price. You get what you pay for.

Gross water Business Trip

Cons: If there is going to maintenance issues or if something is not working right, the hotel should be up front and honest and not make their guests suffer
Location: It is downtown Denver, there is endless awesome thing to do.
The Staff at this hotel was great. They were very friendly for the most part. The water was the issue. The first night I got in, I wanted to take a nice hot shower BUT the water was freezing. I let it rum for about 5 minutes and I felt very uncomfortable with what a waste that is and it never warmed up in the slightest. I called a the front desk who said a maintenance person would come and check it out. They never did and after about a 45 minutes of waiting and getting late, I gave up and went to bed. NO Shower. The next morning still half asleep I go to make coffee and the water now has a brown tint to it. I tried calling the front but there was no answer, so I bit it and took a brown shower I skipped the coffee. I decided to go down to the continental breakfast where i heard other guest talking about the color of the water so again I skipped the coffee at the free breakfast. It is not over... After work. the water was not warming up again. so i called the front desk yet again. This time, they sent someone up to fix it. BUT the next morning as i again went to make coffee, the water was now a milky color. I gave up. I checked out that morning.

Hotel in perfect location.

Hotel is in the perfect location for nearby restaurants, bars and even the outdoor mall. Walked our whole trip and enjoyed the different scenery and beautiful weather. Enjoyed it very much. Other parking options around. Walk around and check them out.

Poor Customer Service

Location: Location is good.
Woke up to construction at 7 a.m. without any warning from the staff. When confronting management they were very rude and acted like they were annoyed when having to speak to several customers. Cleaning staff walks into room without any notice. $30 to park a vehicle in already over priced room. Supposedly you cant go to the garage to get in your vehicle, due to security reasons. If that is true than it would be the staff of the garage that would be responsible for the damage to nozzle of the gas tank. Someone tried jamming something down the tube, I'm assuming to try and siphon gas from the truck. Overall not pleased with the hotel to say the least.

Went home at 11:15 PM

No vending machines for a soda. We were on the 6th floor and called desk to know when the Event on the second floor would end and were told by 12:30 AM. Music was booming in our heads like being at a stop light with a teen driver that had his subwoofer turned all the way up. We packed up and went to the front desk at 11:15 and then were told the party had ended. We said that we were already packed. The night lady at the desk said ok and checked us out without even a "I am sorry". We only get to go and stay somewhere about once a year. We spent alot and did not have a good time. Thanks, Grandparents raising a 3 year old.
