Middle of NowherePosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The bed
Cons: Fix things in the room before allowing guests to stay in it.
Location: There is a shopping plaza nearby with a Spar etc.
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Lampshade broken in room and DVD player broken also. Kylemore Luas is not close by at all its a lengthy taxi journey. Hotel shuttle to Kylemore doesn't even start till 11am! Cherry Orchard Park West rail station is a close 5 minute walk however trains only every hour! This place is maybe acceptable for business travellers who want to work in their room and not feel the need to leave the hotel but for everyone else it's a waste of money if you want to see Dublin.

distance from DublinPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: comfort and cleanliness of the rooms
Cons: A more frequent shuttle service into the city
Location: nothing to do or see in the surrounding area, too far out of the city although this was reflected in the price.
good hotel rooms very clean and comfortable. Pity it was so far from the city centre, ideal if you had a car, which we had not. However the train and buses ran very close to the hotel.

Brilliant hotel in a quiet but convenient locationPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Clean, spacious, modern.
Location: Dublin city centre (and all that entails), Liffey Valley shopping centre, North Bull beach, Portmanock beach, Phoenix Park
Aspect Hotel is located in a delightful, modern business park on the edge of Dublin. As such, the centre can be reached in 20 minutes by car (or 40 minutes by bus), and the M50 is only 5 minutes by car. There are plenty of shops within a short drive as well. The hotel itself is kept in wonderful condition, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Check in was straight forward and simple. Although we only used the restaurant area once for breakfast, we were pleased with the quality of food and furnishings in that area as well.

Couldn't fault it!Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: It was all very nice.
Cons: I can't think of anything to suggest.
Location: Ideal for our Marlay Park concert, though we had a car. I can't say what the public transport would be like from this hotel.
We booked this hotel via the Expedia website when we were looking for somewhere close by to Marlay Park in Dublin for a concert we were attending. We had a hire car, so I wasn't too bothered about it not being on a public transportation route, although I can imagine the latter being a problem for some people. It turned out that this place was only about 15 mins drive from the venue and was ideal. The hotel itself appears to be very new? The reception/checking-in was quick, but I think this was probably due to it being not so busy. We hadn't booked breakfast, but having been offered it (at extra cost €8.50 per person), we decided we might as well. I'm pleased we did because it was really nice. All buffet with cereals, fresh fruit, toast, beverages, and a hot buffet so we enjoyed a full 'english' breakfast. The room we had on the second floor was easily accessible via the lift. Very clean room, crisp white bedding, free Wifi, lovely clean fresh bathroom with towels, shower cream, etc., large shower enclosure with good powerful shower. We had a good nights sleep! I really don't have any negative comments about this hotel!

Great locationPosted Jul 14, 2014
Myself and my Husband stayed for one night on 12th July 2014. We booked this hotel because of price and the location. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. We will defiantly stay again!

Nice Hotel, but miles from anywherePosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: The comfort.
Cons: Warning about how far it is from anything, although if one has a car, the problem would not be so severe.
Location: Too far away from any activities.
The hotel was very pleasant, although an included breakfast would have improved our stay. The main problem was that it was located so far from everything. The long, end-to-end bus ride took at least 40 minutes to get to Dublin. Also, unless one takes a cab (by no means cheap), the journey to and from the airport requires two end-to-end trips by buses, one in to Dublin, then one out to the hotel.

Comfort and quiet stayingPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Comfort bed, clean bed sheets, and quiet environment.
Cons: Left over food/folk/drink didn't get cleaned, properly the maid thought I still need it even though it's really nothing left.
Booked in the last minutes for 3 nights, turned up comfortable and pleasant staying. A little bit out of town but regular bus and station just at the corner so kind of make it up, kitchen closed early so being prepared not much choice if you are hungry at late night

Economic, comfortable hotel, quite a way outPosted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Good value.
Cons: The breakfast was very poor given how much was being charged. It could either be better or a cheaper option could be introduced.
The main issue I had with the hotel was how far out from the centre it was, but I knew that when I booked it and I was happy with the compromise of price vs distance from the centre. However, it does take almost over half an hour on the bus to get into the centre of Dublin and while the trains are quick (under 10 minutes) they are only once an hour. Transport on Sunday is an issue, but the hotel does run a shuttle bus at the weekend. Otherwise it was a very comfortable, well-appointed and good value hotel.

Fantastic ServicePosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was everything that i required. i was visiting on business so it was within easy reach of the M50. The room had everything i required and was spacious and very clean. The hotel has free WiFi throughout which means for business communication it was excellent. The staff in the hotel were very polite and quick with the service. the only downside of the hotel even though it did not effect me was its location you would need transport to get around i had a car so it was not a problem
