I feel the motel is understaffed as the same person who checked us in the night before was still in charge of both the front desk and the complimentary breakfast the next day. It was impossible for him to keep up with breakfast items on a super busy day of the total eclipse weekend. Not a big deal as a complimentary breakfast isn't the point of the stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were not! Fortunately, I travel with one of my own. I reserved the room for three adults. There were two glasses, two cups and two sets of towels. What is the third person supposed to use? It's a pain to run to the front desk to get extras. It seems housekeeping could be aware of that night's reservations and leave amenities accordingly.

Below average stay, but good for bad weather
It was a great price for a last minute stop due toa snow storm. However. The cable tv didnt work, low water pressure, and no one was there to serve breakfast at the advertised time. There was a bell at tje counter to ri g for help and a sign to dial 0 on the phone for assistance, though no phone on the desk. I would consider a Red Roof Inn again to give them another chamce for impressions.

Pleasant Stay; I'll be back
I'm not "fluffy," but found the Red Roof Inn convenient, comfortable, and clean, which do matter. The young lady who checked me in was polite, friendly, and helpful, as was the young man who helped me the morning I left; they both went beyond...I felt like I was at Disneyland, where they train the staff to be friendly.

Our stay at the Red Roof Inn Dumas met our needs for a quick rest after a very long drive. The breakfast the next morning was woefully uninviting with stale bread, unappetizing choices, and undrinkable coffee. The staff was kind, however, which was great.

Bad Experience
The room assigned was half empty—half had a bed and a TV and a small desk, but the other half was a large empty area where side chairs or small sofas had been removed. We asked for a different room with complete furnishings but they did not have any. I asked for a refund but they said I paid Expedia/Hotels.com, so I would have to “call” them which is almost impossible on a weekend night. Bad experience and do not trust Ted Roof Inn any longer

Room was very clean and nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. There were lots of restaurants close by and a supermarket across the street. The breakfast was really bad though, even the pastries were dry and old. However, for the price and pets staying free it was a great stay.
