Older home with awesome decor and a well appointed kitchen. Lovely living room with games & DVDs The only downside was the beds are both doubles.

The perfect stay when visiting the area.
Cute old place spruced up just right for visitors. Everything we needed was right there including a sweet location perfect for an early morning or evening walk. We had a small issue getting the TV/DVD player going but our host was on it like a shot! All communication with him was fast and easy. My friends only had one complaint and that was the not terribly comfortable double mattress placed on a queen frame. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will return next time we want to spend a few nights in that neck of the woods.

Beautiful House
We had a great time staying at this house. It’s clean, perfect space, things that we need during our stay are there. There’s a grocery store 2 blocks away. We like the backyard because of the bonfire. We slept really good because the bed was so comfy. Close to Riding Mountain Park, 15-min drive. Communication with Weston was good, clear and quick response. We will definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing
We like to hike. Clear Lake is a 15 minute drive. The Trans Canada Trail is across the street. Weston and his brother met us at the house and gave us a quick tour. I like to bird watch. Plenty of birds in the area. The gas station and grocery store is a couple of blocks away. Nice big quite back yard with lots of trees.

Great location
We enjoyed having a comfortable spot close to ski trails at Riding Mountain. This spot is a bit rustic, but comfortable and just the right size and location. The kitchen is great, and the bedrooms upstairs are very cozy.

Beautiful and peaceful little place
My family and I had such a great time there. We loved the rustic charm of the house. A really good spot to go to if you need a break from the busyness of the city. This location is really close to riding mountain, so we had tones of fun things to do.

Relaxating in Erickson
The property was cozy and well-equipped inside - a perfect place to hide out and forget all our responsibilities. We are an older couple, and fortunately quite fit as we were not aware of the very treacherous stairs leading to the bedrooms, and getting down to the bathroom at nights safely was a challenge. I think it would be important to state that the bathroom and bedrooms are on separate floors. Also, the microwave was located dangerously high - even for my tall partner. Definitely needs to be moved. The housekeeping was adequate but could have been a little cleaner. the yard was a mess. Also, I would not advertise a firepit that doesn't exist, or at least not in any usable, safe form unless you want the house burnt down. There are no screens on the windows except for a small one in the front door and two tiny ones in the bedroom windows. I think it would be uninhabitable in the warm weather unless the downstairs windows are screened or it was air-conditioned. We were grateful that it was cool when we were there. We would probably rent again in cool/cold weather as we loved the relaxed ambience and the owner was delightful and very helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Stay
Perfect location to Riding Mountain and surrounding areas. Well equipped Kitchen and so much things to do even just staying inside the house. Have a grocery store, bakery, eatery nearby and easy to get what we need. Owner is very responsive and helpful too. Will definitely stay here again.

Quiet Three Day Retreat
Zackary was very responsive when we had a bit of difficulty with the WiFi. The house itself reminds me of and old farmhouse, a bit rustic with some good upgrades. It has a well equipped kitchen and everything works well. The yard has nice potential but spring cleanup had not been done yet.

We had to alter our departure time and try and arrive a bit ahead of a snow storm; Zach was VERY accommodating and gracious in all our dealings. Communications were timely and always courteous and helpful. It is an older cabin concept, so set your expectations to enjoy a step back in time. Again, host was awesome to work with on any questions or items to discuss.

The house was clean and inviting, with great amenities and a full kitchen, Internet and more.
Great time at this property in Erickson. Relaxing, fun and a beautiful house with all one could ask for in a weekend rental. Very close to Riding Mountain National Park for hiking, fire pit for hanging out at night, full kitchen with everything one would need, and the host is very flexible and excels in communication with renters. Overall a very positive experience and would definitely go back.

Peaceful
My friend and I stayed here and enjoyed every minute of it. We like to cook so we were please with the kitchen, and of course with having a coffee maker. The yard is homey and would have been good for a fire if it hadn't been so wet when we visited. Very nice stay!

This old house has rustic charm with excellent upgrades making it very comfortable. It has a picturesque view, located in a small town close to a national park with many outdoor activity choices.

Winter Get Away
Nice comfy corner lot with a view of the sunsets, close to Clear Lake, the Trans Canada Trail and town amenities. We enjoyed reading the books Zach provided and were surprised to find an authentic windmill in Erickson

Quiet cozy stay near Riding Mountain National Park
Zach made the check-in process friendly and easy for us. The living spaces were all clean and tidy. We had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, it was a great stay and we look forward to coming back again.

Clean, Spacious & Accomodating
It was a great experience and love the natures decor as am a nature lover. The place is clean & has a spacious living room. We were happy to accomodate our request. We left the place clean, hope we get our cleaning fee back. Would like to reccomend this place as its very nice location, clean & easy to communicate with Zach. Thanks Zach for your nice place. A little bit disappointed
Booked this property last year. This cabin had pretty much everything it has to offer, Except the most important amenities like 'Microwave', lack of TP's (we only had one during our 3 day stay). Then make sure that you don't 'forget' any 'valuables' behind once you check out. Since the owner definitely have no intention of returning it. I messaged him about retrieving the item, but only got ignored

We really enjoyed the views of the hay fields, the quiet, and all the space to relax after hiking.
The house was perfect for our family. Lots of space to spread out in the living room, a fire pit in the evening, full kitchen, lots of hot water. Our only concern was that a hot week would be a bit stifling upstairs. The windows didn’t open very fully. Bring a fan if you travel with kids! We loved the cottage and would definitely stay here again. It’s close to Riding Mountain but yet not in the middle of busy cabins and campsites. We all had a great time.

Perfect winter experience.
We had a great stay in this cozy, quaint and well equipped space. The location is nicely situated on the outskirts of town facing the open space so the view makes it feel like you are away from it all. We were happy to spend time in this lovely environment as it was too cold to be outside. Zach was very helpful before, during and upon departure with very quick responses to all of our questions. I could not have asked for a better place to have a relaxing break.

Quiet, peaceful life in a small town
Enjoyed the quiet small town life and the fireworks in 3 different locations our last night there, was an added bonus. The house is very spacious and totally stocked with everything you can imagine. After a busy day at the park we enjoyed the BBQ and also fire pit in the back yard. Our grandchildren enjoyed the huge yard which was great for flying their planes. We arrived on a very hot day and the house was so cool inside. The Trans Canada trail runs right beside the property, which is on the edge of town, so has the feel of country. You can get groceries or beer, etc in the town, but if you need wood for the fire pit, you have to pick that up in Onanole. We all had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again

Great Cottage!
We and my mom stayed here for two nights in July. The property was beautiful and exactly what we needed. We keep different sleeping schedules, so the two bedrooms and quiet space allowed her to get up and do her own thing early in the mornings while I rested. It is very nicely decorated and comes with all the amenities you would need for a stay. Zach is very friendly and pleasure to rent from. It's very close to both Riding Mountain and Minnedosa and we took advantage of both. We're going back for another two nights in Aug and I have friends with two little ones who are considering renting it next summer instead of a cabin at Camp Morton.

Great place to stay. Really laid back and cosy
Zach was great, mix up with the booking company and yet he still went out of his way to get the place ready before we got there. Even offering to buy us beers for the inconvenience, of which there wasn't one. Great guy. Great place. Would stay again without even a hesitation.
