Pros: Not sure, I would have to think about that very hard. Hmmmmmm I can't think of a thing.
Cons: Staff and accesability
Location: The location was good it was on Hotel row. We stayed their to go into Trinidad.
This Super 8 hotel in Arcata was horrible. The wouldn't even try to work with us and our disabilities. Their accommodations were not very good. Their doors wouldn't work with their key cards, again a long walk to the front to cut through to open the outer doors for our baggage to be brought in. They don't even have a baggage cart. Again a problem for us disabled ladies. I will never go there again. I stayed at a Super 8 in Redding and it was great, the staff was great and they worked with us and our disabilities.

Arrived at 10:30

Cons: Bulldozer and replace with a modern facility
No one at desk when we arrived, waited ten minutes for someone to arrived. No elevator and our key to ground level did not work when we went to tell her she said we were the fifth person to tell her that. This made me very angry because we I asked about elevator I told her I had a bad ankle. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain and walls are paper thin. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for

Run down hotel

Posted May 19, 2014
This place needs more than just a new coat of paint. Furniture beat up/broken, upholstery on chairs stained and torn, bathtub caulking was moldy, toilet seat dirty..........yuck, yuck yuck! This was the worst Super 8 I've ever stayed in.

Cons: - Lots of smoke in the non-smoking area - Staff is not well trained
Charged me more than we agreed and when I asked, they did not know how to respond. They said they would call me back 5 days ago.

Sleepless nights with a rowdy crowd in and out

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: Nothing. Besides the noises, the motel room is dirty, and both the sink and bathroom faucets were so hard to turn on and off. Miserable experience!!
Cons: Staff should post signs of noise control and enforce it so most of the customers can sleep at night. Fix the faucets and keep the room clean!!!
Location: Close to highway.
We had a rowdy crowd of young adults screaming at each other and making loud noises from 11:20 pm into 1:40 am. during the nights. We heard someone yelling at them telling them to get out, but this rowdy group left temporarily and came back to make more noises into the night. I was tempted to call the police but refrained from doing so. I figured if the staff could not control them, even if the police came, they were not going to stay around to babysit these crazy people. I strongly recommend to even take this motel off your list of choices unless you would like to entertain more upset customers in the future.

You pay for what you get. The room was clean, the bathroom was free of soap scum and mildew, hot water was hot and the dryer worked. The room smelt like it hadn't been "lived in" for a while otherwise, it served it's purpose, I had a place to sleep and that was the whole purpose of the room. Staff was very polite and full of smiles. In fact the whole dang town was that way. The shopping center across the way proved to be benificial as well.
