Posted Jul 28, 2014Easy Bus Connection or walk to Major Museums , Hotel is very clean, front desk staff is very helpful! I would stay there in a heartbeat , this was a wonderful choice.

San Gallo Palace in July
Posted Jul 26, 2014Hotel not central but this was no problem to us. Maybe a 15 min walk to centre- hotel located on a busy main road but this didn't bother us. Lovely staff, comfortable clean room, v good air-con. Breakfast ok, nice outside terrace/garden. Would recommend.

Cons: Better breakfast, more comfortable beds.
My first trip to Italy , accompanied by my 22 yr old daughter. The hotel was pleasant enough, but not that comfortable. The beds were terrible, leaving us both with backaches. Only 1 pillow per person provided which is pretty chintzy in my book. The towels were scratchy and the free breakfast not great.

A good hotel out of the congested city center
Posted Jul 20, 2014Pros: The hotel has an excellent American Bar with beautiful inside/outside tables. The rooms are spacious, and very goods restaurants around the hotel.
Cons: In general sense the hotel has very good conditions.
Location: 15 minutes walking to the Duomo and the central market.
Was our second time in Florence, at this time with some friends, the hotel is a very good and comfortable installation, in a quiet location, the staff is very professional and friendly.

Posted Jul 12, 2014This is a cosy one close to attractions by foot. There's also a close by bus station if you prefer a ride. The staff was polite and the rooms were clean and tidy. I would recommend without hesitation.

Posted Jul 12, 2014Pros: Breakfast was good every morning. The hotel staff were friendly.
Cons: The room wasn't huge but it was comfortable enough for a couple.
Location: There are a few nice restaurants and a gelateria within a few minutes walk. The tourist sights are definitely walkable.
The San Gallo Palace was a comfortable stay. It was close enough to walk to the different sights (15-20 min) and was in a quieter part of the city but there are enough amenities around and wasn't too far from the train/bus station. We would recommend it and would go back to Florence again.
