The worst hotel in America

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Nothing. Im never going to forget this hotel not because I had a good time but because my stay there was an HORRIBLE vacations.
Cons: They need to change all the staff members and they need to remodel averything.
Location: The beach was the only thing that is perfect.
The room was VERY dirty and old, the hotel charges you everyday for the amount that they want and then it still pending in your card for one month until your bank cancel that. I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you want to have a really bad vacations. Never ever go to this freaking hotel anymore. It sucks

Horrible service.

Posted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: The restaurant manager Troy and Ron were very friendly and went above and beyond to accomodat us. The valet was extremly friendly and helpful.
Cons: Re-training Jeff, the hotel manager.
We booked an oceanfront suite in this beautiful hotel for a one night stay after spending a week in Key West. However, when we arrived, we did not get the oceanfront room we booked. Unapologetically, we were placed in a cityview room with a leaky shower and broken coffee maker AND charged more for it. When we spoke to Jeff, the hotel manger about the upcharges, he denyied them was abrupt, and unwilling to resolve the matter. It was a terrible end to what started out to be a fantastic vacation. I would not recommend staying here.

good location

Pros: the beach right there and lots of places to eat and shop near.
Cons: the hotel is so nice it just needs some updating and housekeeping needs to do its job they do as little as possible.
II took my mom with me to see her family wile I was looking at real estate . She has Parkinson and they put us on seventh floor hard to walk for everything. so if you have handicapped be aware. They had no washer and dryer on our floor was there once. so you had to run up and down to the fifth floor for your clothes. they charged me over 20.00 dollars a day to park ads up on a nine day stay your a guest you should not have to pay. They also charged you over 10.00 dollars a day for internet which ads up all week . on a good note the rooms were big with two bathrooms that was nice and a living room area to spread out . housekeeping dose the bare min never saw them the staff at the front desk are nice and the young men who park the cars went out of there way for you. the hotel was a nice laid back place beach was right in front of you..

Ok for one day

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: Room was big and comfortable, very nice decorated
Cons: Add more staff Clean around the pool area Bar should be outside next to the pool.
I was impressed about the hotel as soon as I walked in with my family, lobby looked very beautiful, our room was very big , 1 bedroom, 1 living area and 2 full baths, definitely a plus when traveling with kids so they can have their own. I was disappointed with the "Sunset views" (the way my room was advertised) since the only I saw through the window was a dirty roof. So if you go to this hotel, avoid staying on the 2 floor. I was also truly disappointed with the beach, this hotel doesn't have private beach, you have to cross the street . The sand area is reduced , the sea is way too close and there was little space to put the umbrella and chairs. Water are is full of huge rocks which make it dangerous for kids. Back in the hotel, service in pool area was very bad, I never saw a waitress , I have to literally go inside to chase one. Another minus point is bar is inside, so be sure to be dry before going to order a drink otherwise you may fall or freeze because of the A/C. Pinas Coladas were tasteless and expensive. There was garbage mostly everywhere, plastic cups, empty plastic plates, etc since the trash cans were at their capacity. Next day breakfast was a mission, only one person cooking at the omelet station, the poor guy was cooking 6 pots at the same time which made the line long as heck. The hotel was totally understaffed, I don;t think I will come back . Beware of the parking fee $ 19 per day and 9.95 Wi-Fi .

Very nice hotel next to quiet beaches

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: Breakfast is perfect! Manager reception perfect 'end' to each day! Room had 2 bathrooms, which is nice for traveling with family.
Location: Highly recommend a boat tour in Fort Lauderdale! Drive along highway A1A north and south of hotel.
Hotel is located on nice, quiet Deerfield Beach. Nice area and not as busy as Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beaches. Perfect place for peaceful family beachcation!

Deerfield FL Embassy Suites

Posted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean. Ample underground parking. Free continental breakfast with cook to order omelets. Location!
Cons: Staff isn't overly friendly. 3/4 of the pool chairs are on the side of the pool that loose sun by 2 pm. Refreshment cabana on the beech would be nice
Location: This hotel is all about location. Shops, restaurants, entertainment and the beach all within a half mile.
This hotel is close to everything we want to do. Beech across the street, short drive to Jupiter and Delray Beech. Close to fishing charters. Beech is clean and beautiful.

Great location, but needs some work

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Great location across from the beach
Cons: Better staffing per guest ratio. Showers need to be improved (water pressure).
Location: Nice restaurants, many bars, and a few ok shops.
Great location, but hotel was booked and hotel resources were understaffed. Check in, restaurant, lounge and concierge all had rather long waits. That said, staff was pleasant. Room was a bit dated. Showers were rather poor.

Best Bang For Your Buck

Posted Mar 16, 2014
We were able to check in around 12:30 and was very happy with our ocean view. Yes, the rooms are a little tired age wise but we have stayed in "higher class" hotels that were in far greater need of updating. Having two full bathrooms was GREAT after going to the beach across the street and wanting to wash off remaining sand (that didn't fall off in the pool after the beach!). The two hours of free drinks at the bar every night is a GREAT bonus as well. Breakfast was incredible and really provides EVERYTHING kids and adults could possibly want, or need, to start your day off right. Like the title says, best bang for your buck. The only bad thing I have to say is the ridiculous $15 fee per beach chair and $15 fee for umbrella. Needless to say, we laughed at that and just got more FREE beach towels.

For just a 1 night stay, we loved it ! :)

Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Well we really loved everything about it. Room, Meals, Staff, Pool, easy access to the beach and most the all, a superbe view of the sea.
Cons: Maybe it would be good to have more variety for long stay packages (including room, breakfast and evening meals) with good prices for families.
Location: With the beach and the sea just in front this is really the best location we've found for our last night stay in the Deerfield Beach area.
We were very pleased with all the hotel facilities, staff, we hat a great sea front view, beautiful suite, great meals and the beach was superbe. We will most certainly come back for a longer stay next time we will be in Florida.
