Nice hotel, close to everything.Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Room, tiki bar, staff, walking distance to downtown area & beach.
Location: Several nice and/or casual restaurants. Some cool little bars to walk to.
The hotel staff was great, our room was nicer than expected, it was close to everything & many amenities right on site. I like the layout with all the turns of the catwalk. Helps to create more privacy.

Cute hotel, needs updatesPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: The location, the price
Cons: Needs new ac units, needs serious updates (just looks old)
Location: The beach is just a short walk away, lots of trinket shopping and several small sit down restraint available within walking distance.
The staff was kind, the view was nice, the room was a nice layout, and check in and check out was a breeze. However, the room was musty and wouldn't cool down below 75 degrees. No one could sleep because it was so warm and the noise from the tiki bar was obnoxious-- didn't end until 2am.

Pros: Location and the Tiki Bar
Cons: The rooms are a bit dated could use some upgrades- broken cupboard doors old furnishings and bedding.
Location: Location was great walking distance to many restaurants.
The location was great. Tiki Bar on site was convenient and reasonable prices. The staff was not very nice I chose this hotel so I could bring my dog [ it is to be pet friendly] but found out the maids would not clean our room because of the dog. Did not make sense. Rooms are a bit tired could use a makeover.

Potential to be much, much betterPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Tiki bar was nice. Had a good evening there on a Sunday, with softer live music. Bar tenders were friendly. Bar food was quite decent.
Cons: Never made up room during a three night stay. Didn't make the bed, take out trash, provide shampoo, clean towels. We were on our own. NO SERVICE!
Location: Well located as it is close to the beach and other bar/restaurants.
We checked in at night and it was super smooth. We got a map of the property, keys to our room, parking reference and a parking card for the car. The room had a king bed and kitchenette. It was up some steps, right off the pool with the fountain. The room was nice enough, kind of stuffed with furniture, but clean. It smelled good, the bed was comfortable, the air worked perfectly and the TV was large screen, flat and they even have HBO, etc. We were very pleased the first night. But then, second day, I needed to wash clothes as we had been away from home for more than a week, and I had to wait my turn with locals who use this as their laundry mat. I left clothes in the washer, my laundry bags, laundry pods, dryer sheets, took my roll of quarters, and sure enough, someone stole my detergent and dryer sheets. Bad on me. Stupid! Then I realized that the whole place is kind of a free for all for anyone and everyone in the community. People drive through to fill their coolers with ice. Car loads of people come with coolers, kids, boom boxes and bags of food to take over the swimming pool and they stay all day and night. Supposedly, they can't park without a permit, can't swim past a certain time, can't bring cooler, glass, etc. But, absolutely no enforcement. They stay until 3 a.m. making a lot of noise and no one even comes by. My husband wanted to make sure that we had numbers for security, sheriff, etc. in case the local drunks got too wild. Not nice!

Went for the weekend with kids.We enjoyed the pools and the tiki bar during the day.On Friday night was a very late night with a rowdy crowd after 3a.m.Saturday was more low key .The plumbing needs to be worked on.We enjoyed our stay. The prices at the Tiki bar and for breakfast were very reasonable.

Overall pretty goodPosted Jul 27, 2014
Definitely outdated for sure. The rooms could use a complete overhaul. But the location is great the tiki bar is a huge plus. Great atmosphere and people. Clean room but small and very outdated. Overall if you're not in you're room much definitely worth the price.

My husband and I went for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We had the perfect combination in this hotel...quiet and relaxed yet so close to the center of the night life that we were able to enjoy a bit of both. The Tiki bar was a plus also. Food was surprisingly delicious and there was music every night. Didn't bother us when we were in our room either. The ONLY and I do mean ONLY negative is that we are used to being right on the beach and it's across the street. If that's not a deal-breaker for you, do it. Reserve. Now, don't expect luxury because it's not luxurious but it's clean and comfy. I slept there better than i do at home. Loved the bed.

fun placePosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Location and Tiki bar
Cons: Size of shower
Location: it was right over the bridge across the street from the beach with places to eat and shop.
The hotel was located in a great place in relation to the beach. The parking was a little hard to do. Great fun was had each night at the out door Tiki bar, A DJ or kareoke was happening. the room was very comfortable except for the shower which was very tiny, we ended up buying a shower caddy to put shower items in. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room air conditioner kept the room quite cold. The kitchen was nice. We had a great time there.

Overcrowded, noisy, people sleepover not guestsPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: It was pet-friendly.
Cons: Enforce rules for pool area, have cable set so TVs can be viewed in living area, have the refrigerator door open on side most accessible
Location: Beach was three-to-five minute walk, restaurant nearby, shops nearby
Our room was near pool and pool crowded and noisy until 1 a.m. I had to go out and ask people to leave so we could sleep. Rules on sign say pool "closed" at dusk. We noticed people hauling pool lounge chairs out of rooms the following morning -- the only time we got to use the pool. It seems people stay here and welcome all their relatives or friends to stay, too. The hotel is near the Fort Myers beach and restaurants, shops, etc. If one likes a lot of "action" -- drinking and noise, this is the place to find it. Also, the open kitchen living area was small and set up so anyone cooking could NOT even see the TV.
