Somerset Sunset is in the unique position to enjoy stunning views of the sun rising over Lake Somerset at dawn and breathtaking views of the sun setting over the mountains at dusk. All this makes the perfect location for a romantic country wedding, engagement party, birthday celebration or just a few days away with family and friends enjoying the stunning views and fresh country air.

Create a unique experience for you and your guests. When booking a wedding or event at Somerset Sunset, you are hiring the property and all its facilities for your exclusive use. You can hire the property for as long you require, providing you with plenty of time to get things organised for your special event.

Enjoy the peace and serenity of the charming 125 year old cottage, which has been fully renovated to its former glory. The fully equipped commercial kitchen in "The Feed Lot" will cater for any large event and includes large commercial oven and cook top, microwave, large fridge, bar, seating area and bathroom facilities for guests.

Fantastic escape for any sort of Large group
We booked Somerset Sunset as an End of Season Soccer trip for our team and the set up was perfect. Initially I thought the place was just one big building but across the whole property is 4 different buildings with beds in them. Perfect for spacing things out and allowing some to go to bed when they need if others wish to stay up later. Was quite dry but not the property’s fault obviously with the lack of water around and unable to use the fire pit because of the fire ban but there was more than enough places for all of us (about 25 people) to hang out. I can see the appeal for weddings here as it’s very scenic but any other type of big group it is perfect for as there is so much space for activities and generally having fun. Great communication from the hosts too and are very easy going with any type of request or questions. Thanks for having us and hopefully we can return next year!

Great Escape
The place was lovely. It had an amazing view of the dam, an awesome fire pit and great pool. The best part was the kitchen which made cooking for a large group of people. Everything was well organised and candice was very easy to deal with and helpful. 10/10 would highly recommend!
