Under construction!Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Nice staff. Good location for visiting Ithaca College.
Cons: Finish construction
Location: Lots of restaurants in Ithaca as well as easy access to both Ithaca College and Cornell.
The hotel is generally fine and the staff is very attentive but they are undergoing a fairly major renovation to the lobby area and that makes for a lot of hardships both with check-in and check-out as well as the complimentary breakfast service. The treadmill in the gym was also broken. The room was very comfortable and very clean.

good locationPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: close to lots of nice places - great area to visit
Cons: it will be much better when the re-furbishment is finished
Location: Robert Tremon park is fabulous, also near the town and shopping area
When we arrived we thought the hotel was closed as the reception area was all roped off. This area is being refurbished and there was a temporary entrance round the side. Reception was in a converted bedroom. They were clearly working under difficulty, the breakfast area was also being re-furbished so breakfast was laid out in two adjoining bedrooms - all slightly odd. Couldn't adjust the air conditioning either. Other than that everything was fine and the staff were helpful, offering us help with our luggage as there is no lift.

Good value in expensive marketPosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Good location, helpful staff, good value
Cons: They are in the process of renovating.
Location: Good short-cut access to Ithaca College. Near best selection of restaurants, grocery stores, Walmart, Staples. Buttermilk and Endfield Falls state p
Needed an un-reimbursed room for a week in this fairly expensive market. This hotel is reasonably clean and comfortable and in a good location.

terrible, just terrible! i realize they are remodeling, but not a word from the staff about any inconvenience or lack of amenities. no lobby, condition of hotel was disturbing inside and out. not even a lesser rate for the poor condition. checked in to a very nice hotel across the street, FOR LESS!!! sad, just sad.

Comfort Inn renovationPosted Sep 14, 2014
When the taxi driver pulled into the hotel around midnight, his first response was "uh oh." The place looked abandoned, with shuttered lobby windows and door. The rooms were only slightly better. However, The sheets and pillows were the highlight of the stay. They were clean and seemed fairly new.

Wish we knew the hotel was under construction!Posted Sep 3, 2014
The hotel staff was very nice. However, the hotel was under construction. Wouldn't have stayed here had we known prior to making reservations. They made a couple rooms into front desk and breakfast area, which was ackward at best. Breakfast was very crowded. Not worth the $200/night! Very disappointed. Will spend a little more to stay somewhere else for our next visit to Ithaca. Don't waste your money on this place!

The devil is in the details!Posted Aug 23, 2014
The hotel was adequate for our stay in order to visit Cornell. However, they really need to go around and look at some of the drab dirty details. He really would not stay here again. The breakfast area was crowded not wipe well at all and often out of periods food. Also, when you look behind the check in desk it was very messy and on And if the management cannot keep its own area neat and clean how can they be expected to keep the entire hotel neat and clean?

Low cost with friendly staffPosted Aug 20, 2014
Location: There is at least one of everything in a mile radius. Did not have to venture far for anything.
It was a nice place, close to every convenience you could possible think of, and within a 2 minutes drive of a majority of the major gorges and hiking spots. Would stay there again.

This your basic hotel and it delivers basics very well. It is close to Cornell and even runs a shuttle to get there. The staff was nice and helpful
