Pros: Free breakfast. Good rates. Shuttle to train station and bus stop right next to hotel.
Cons: Bring in better coffee.
Great hotel, but a little farther from NY city than I thought it would be, making a little inconvenient getting in to and back from NYC. However, there is a bus stop right by the hotel, but #320, which takes you to NYC in less than 20 min. And, there is a free shuttle from hotel to the Train Station, which is helpful if you choose to take a train to NYC or EWR airport. Overall hotel is very good, with great service. Love the open lobby. Breakfast is OK, but coffee is not good.

Convinient LocationPosted Sep 24, 2014
Convinient location because is close to Manhatan and there are plenty of restaurants around but the rooms are old and the carpets in them are dirty.

disappointingPosted Sep 21, 2014
first room they gave me reeked of smoke so I had to go request another. the room don't appear to have been updated in a while. I assumed for a room over $200/night there would be usb charging ports but there were not. only 10 or so channels on the tv.

Great location, disappointed by room, servicePosted Sep 11, 2014
Location: Near Lincoln Tunnel to get into New York. Parked at Port Authority and walked to Times Square or took subway from there.
Hotel was in a great location near Lincoln Tunnel to get into New York, but had a disappointing experience with service, especially late at night. Hotel missed instructions at reservation and at afternoon check in to make up sofa bed. When we returned to the room at 1 am, the bed was still not made and the poor guy at the front desk said he was the only one on staff and could not leave his post, nor was there any one else to make it. It took us several trips up and down the elevators to get the required number of sheets, pillows, pillow slips and towels before we could finally get our bed made and settled in for the night. It was disappointing given how tired we were and wanting just to collapse into bed, and surprising for a hotel the size and perceived caliber of Embassy Suites. Our stay otherwise was mostly uneventful.

Pros: Morning and evening amenities

Location: Minutes away from Broadway and Mid Manhattan
Nothing better in the area for the price!!! Planning to return shortly and this may very well be a yearly event

Easy to get to NYC, bus from in front of the hotelPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and free parking.
Cons: Shuttle to train station may already be in place, other than that it is hard to suggest anything.
Location: Good location, restaurants at walking distance, we had dinner at Outback, that is just next door.
Checked in at 3.00pm, family of four, went to NYC. Next day took transit to NYC again with no problem. Excellent breakfast each day. Had to attend a wedding the next day, few minute drive to Hoboken with no problem.

Nice hotel and well located but needs a refresh !Posted Aug 11, 2014
Cons: Non-smoking room and breakfast should run till 1100am. If McDo can do it, they can !
The front desk did not invent the friendless. We are arrived late at around 1000 PM. When they gave us the room, it smells like if a smoker was in the room. Obviously, went back to front desk and mentioned that we reserved a non-smoking room. They gave us a another room which was lot better but this is not the service that we expect after a long day trip. Well located if you go to NYC and the bus ride is right if front of the hotel! The breakfast is very good but be there early otherwise, it is like traffic in the morning ! They close the breakfast too early which is sad 1000 am. They should be opened till 1030 or 100 am at least for the amount of room they have in the hotel. YvesC

NYC TripPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location, bus service to NYC, breakfast was wonderful
Cons: Front staff needs to be friendlier--they didn't want to be bothered to take time out to answer any questions.
Small room but clean. Bus stop conveniently located across the street.

convenient to NYC, but outdated and understaffedPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Better planning. If you know you are going to be sold out over the weekend you need to be prepared with the right amount of staff and supplies.
Location: Convenient to restaurants nearby and shuttle to train station was good.
This hotel was VERY outdated and extremely understaffed. It took over 40 minutes, and 4 different trips to the front desk to get clean pool towels. Each morning we were there they ran out of food, utensils and plates during breakfast. There was only 1 person clearing tables and cleaning up so it was VERY messy and unorganized. The door to our bathroom was warped and it was hard to get open without the help of someone from the outside pushing it open. The front desk staff was not very helpful when trying to get information about how to get to/from NYC. We opted to cut our trip short and leave a day early.
