Nice Motel close to NJ TransitPosted Jul 30, 2015
Deluxe room was nice, lots of space, great to stay in. Standard room was much smaller and I would certainly recommend the upgrade. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Had some issues with booking due to a mistake by a staff member but they corrected the issue right away and did their best to make things right. Also, be sure to call ASAP if the wireless is not working as sometimes it gets shuts off in certain areas of the building but a simple call fixes the issue right away.

Nicely located, easy to use the public transportation to go to New York City. English speaking only staff, but friendly and willing to repeat for tourists.

Cleanliness lackingPosted Jul 28, 2015
The room was not clean. Therefore called and complained. End result, room still not cleaned. Location is great; next to mall and other stores.

Very nice hotel would recommend and stay anytime!Posted Jul 27, 2015
The check in was smooth and easy. The office area was clean as well as the room. The hotel was actually a pleasant surprise. We ordered room service which was great minus the fact that I didn't get my Ranch dressing for my wings. The food was great though!

It's not a luxury hotel but you are getting what you pay for. Staff was nice. Room was clean. Smaller than I thought but it does the job

Very please with our stay 7/17/15-7/19/15Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The bed, quietness and free parking. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Shave off bottom of bathroom door.
I recommend booking the Superior King room for $4 more per night, although we did not see the other rooms. We were very pleased when we walked into the room. It was better than we had expected (I think I'm a pessimist). The room was pretty spacious, bed was huge and comfortable. There was a safe, refrigerator and microwave. There was a small closet to hang clothes and a few dresser drawers. The air worked nicely. Blackout curtains are awesome (we're not morning people). It was very quiet. The shower pressure was good, water hot. The bathroom door scraped the floor, but who cares....just don't shut it in the middle of the night. Not much to do in the area, especially within walking distance, but that's not what we were there for. Our main goal was to get to NYC during the day, but on a budget. It's much more expensive to stay in the city, plus parking rates are obscene. The Red Roof had plenty of FREE parking and the room rate was reasonable. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the street, as well as a CrossFit, a Wine Outlet, and some Asian takeout place. The staff were very friendly, and helpful when trying to figure out the best way to get into the city. The bus stop was a 12 or so minute walk and cost $3.20 per person (each way). The bus comes every hour. Last bus comes back from NYC at 11:40pm. Don't try to take a taxi into NYC, they told us $71, plus the Lincoln Tunnel toll on the way into the city....there's no toll coming back. And it's only like 3 miles!

Hotel is easily accessible, and has own car park.Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Staff, were polite and helpful
Cons: Various classification of guests, It was obvious that unemployed persons were also staying there. Rooms varied in price depending on your status.
Location: Close by the River, ideal place to sit in the morning if the sun is up. There are outlet malls close by, with plenty of ladies and gents selection
Advertised as wifi and internet, but not once could I use, I had to cross over the road to Dunkin donuts to use theirs. I was working from my hotel room, so not a good result

JayPosted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: The location because it was easy to access the main highways/
Cons: Smaller rooms need to be updated.
Location: New York isn't to far away and the are some decent place to eat nearby.
Everything was clean I stayed in Upgraded King that had plenty of room vs the Standard King. Be sure to put "Privacy Please" door hanger on door or else house keeping will be at your door all morning knocking from 8am on. Overall a good affordable place to stay.
