Pros: The staff was friendly.
Cons: Everything
Location: It's centrally located in Kanab.
Check-in went fine. The woman there was very friendly and warned us they were having a problem with their hot water working and to just let it run for a few minutes to warm up. At the first glance, the room seemed clean. The first set back was not being able to find any outlets. There was one that 5 things were already plugged in to so I ended up charging my phone in the bathroom where the only other outlet was. Wifi didn't work for me at any point of our stay. The two lights in between the beds didn't work (there were no outlets over there), so the room wasn't very well lit. The alarm clock was tossed behind the bedside table (again, unplugged due to no outlets). Carpet was filthy and there were other guests towels hanging on door in bathroom. I'm glad I decided to take a shower that night because I wouldn't have had the time to do so in the morning. It took over 45 minutes of running the water until the shower was at a reasonable temperature. It was one thing after another. And then there were the beds. The pillows were completely flat and there was urine stains all over one of the mattresses. The other mattress slanted very noticeably to one side. We chose to sleep in the slanted bed. We both woke up sore which is not how you want to feel on vacation. I'm not usually picky when it comes to hotels but with all the shortcomings and uncleanliness here, your money would be better spent elsewhere. Had we been there for more than 1 night, we would have left for another hotel.

Dirty and dirty

Posted Apr 9, 2015
I don't mind old as long as it's clean. This place was so dirty it was gross and then it just goes down from there. The bed is uncomfortable because it's so old. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and hair in the bath tub from previous people who stayed in the room. The wi-fi is as slow as dial up. The floor created and we were on the main floor.

Inexpensive but accommodating, pet-friendly, clean

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, quiet, pool (although this visit it was too cold to swim)
Cons: It would be nice to have fruit and bagels as breakfast selections
The staff are so friendly. Makes it a pleasure staying there.

Rodeway Inn

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: Update outside and inside of rooms
Location: junky area and there was a dog that was constantly barking
Well when we checked in there wasn't anyone to check us in. We left and came back a couple hours later. We got checked in a headed to our room. Huge mess in the bathtub. It looked like sanding dust. There was a hole that was patched in the plastic tub surround. It was a black circle, and the dust was never cleaned up. I had to clean out the tub and shower. The room was quite dusty, so I was shaking towels off, and shaking bed and linen. My husband would not go ask for another room, or ask for a discount. No I would not stay there again never.

did a tour from LA to Monument Valley, and back via Kanab, Zion, Las Vegas - Kanab was a very convenient stop about half way between Kayenta AZ and Las Vegas - very cold in the morning (16 F), but nothing you can do anything about - motel was just fine

Rodeway

We had a nice stay. The room was clean, but the bathroom walls were peeling and unattractive. Convenient location to many canyons, town, and National Parks.

Best price for a small dog

Posted Nov 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
hard to find a place to plug in phones etc. to charge. Not clean, stained carpets. Beds were good. They were the cheapest place to have a small dog.
