bad experiencePosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: castle replica look
Cons: complain i am talking abt
my experience was too bad ,luckily i just booked this hotel for one night.room was too smelly and too small.when i booked the hotel its shows all including like indoor swimming and gym ,but when i ask them abt it they were charging me extra for that, some where i think its kind off misleading or wrong information they give just to get booking.according to number of room ,parking space was too small,i had struggle to get parking in the night .

Staying there with my toddler, the room was about 30 degrees, with the radiators off. Our room was over the evening entertainment and so we both had a very bad nights sleep. We checked out early after just one night

Not bad for the price I paid!Posted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Check in took a while. Also told at time of booking that check in was 3pm. Told AT check in to come back at 3.30 for room key, which I did. WAS NOT IMPRESSED, when I had to wait in yet another big queue for my key card, FOR 15MINS!!! Finally getting into my room, couldn't see out the window due to the layers upon layers of dirt!!! Bathroom left a lot to be desired too! No bath, and an open shower. Towel service decided to let themselves in about 30 mins after I finally got in the room. BOT IMPRESSED, but convenient.

Our near Blackpool disaster.Posted Nov 11, 2013
Cons: Issue the key at the same time you book in .
It takes for ever to book in. then you have to que again to get the key. 1hour or ther about it took us. then we got to our room and only a double bed no bed for our grandchild .Ater booking a double and single , We were then sent to another room the other end of the hotel. just the same double room. they want to charge you for a 3 bedded and give you a double with a put u up when there is no room for it . It didnt just hapen to us there were others in the que as well . I asked for my money back no problem. found another hotel along the front we were lucky.

Large hotel in quiet part of BlackpoolPosted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: The food (especially breakfast) was excellent.
Cons: The tired & shabby décor needs sorting out.
Location: There is a tram stop right outside. Buy your ticket (day pass) from the paper-shop round the corner & you'll get it cheaper than paying on the tram.
Was worried after booking by the number of negative reviews. The hotel is a bit dated & shabby in parts but work (ie. painting) was being undertaken while we were there. Due to the size & age of the hotel any refurbishment will be a long process ! Having said that, our (double) room was acceptable (furniture could do with an update) & the bathroom was nearly as big as the room. It was very warm in the room & the window wouldn't open but you might be glad of this during the winter months. Unfortunately our room also had exposed pipeworks so shower & toilet usage next door & upstairs was quite noisy ! We were booked B&B and the breakfast was excellent however the dining room got very busy (people in the know queued up before the doors opened !). Didn't use the restaurant for evening meal but it looked to be of a good standard as well. Had a sandwich from the café one afternoon & this too was of good standard & reasonable price. There is a pool & gym but we didn't make use of this facility (looked nice though !). There is an additional charge for this though. In summary, even though many people have left negative reviews on this hotel, if you go with an open mind (& take into account its Blackpool - which has more than its fair share of dodgy accommodation), you might find it perfectly acceptable.

To describe the room I stayed in as "an executive single room" uses a considerable amount of poetic licence!
