Basic accommodation

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Easy access from boulder highway
Cons: Decor
Location: Three more casinos within easy reach, and easy access to all roads
This casino/hotel is basic if your just looking for a base , the decor need's updating beds where clean, and clean towels every day , TV is old box style but work,s , all the rooms are set away from casino within a three floor set up would be nice in summer to sit on balcony , had to keep curtains closed until we where dressed, If your from the uk envisage a butlins/pontins type , There is a 24 hour bingo hall. Money can be high ,every other hour played, cheap way to spend an hour very entertaining ,if you've never played American bingo give it a go You need a car to get about

People were very unfriendly and not helpful.

This hotel is cheap for a reason. The casino was dirty. Since I was hungry when I arrived I ordered a BLT and OMG. it was made to provoke a heart attack.

Casino is full of cigarette smoke, can't breath inside. Glad the rooms are outside and did not have to go through the casino anymore. Motel like accommodation. Had a non-smoking room, but the curtains were soaked with smoke, so it might have been "converted" smoking room. The room was ok, bed fairly comfortable, did not get any irrigation nor bites. Carpet needs cleaning/washing. It was strange having a sink next to bed. 2 TVs was nice but not necessary. The room was ok war inexpensive accommodation, but would probably not stay again, unless fully 100% smoke-free room and if it was a bit cleaner (carpet and curtains washed).

Hotel was clean- price vary greatly by night

Posted Jan 11, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
I didn't know how long I would have to stay, so I made a new reservation each day, otherwise there would be a full night cancellation penalty. Within a 4 day period, prices ranged from $150 down to $54! Staff was very nice and allowed me to keep the same room throughout. Hotel reservation staff are the slowest I have ever encountered- sometimes taking 1-2 hours to get the reservation recorded. So when you try to check in- you may have to wait 1-2 hours before you can check in. It happened to me and to the guy in line ahead of me. We had to call the on-line booking company who in turn had to call the hotel to tell them to get the reservation entered and THEN we were able to check in. I spend approximately 100 days/yr in hotels and sometime there is a few minutes lag time but never like it is here. Rooms were clean, food was good, parking plentiful. Not fancy, but didn't expect fancy and didn't pay "fancy" prices. Good value
