Never again.......

Posted Mar 30, 2015
When I arrived early the front desk was great they let me do early check in. Thank you!!! Beds are horrible "hard as a rock". I was required to a extra day and expedia was sold out. Went down stairs to extend my stay I came across a robot by the name of Trish. No communication skills at all. Rude!!! No other word to explain here.

Room was nice. Not worth what I paid, but it was a Friday night, so they tack on the extra fees. Other than that, it was a nice quiet stay.

Away from the strip!

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Quiet location, several restaurants and bars on sight.
Cons: Hotels a little worn, could use updating. Room WI FI no good but in common areas worked fine.
Location: About 20 minutes from the strip.
Away from the high priced strip plenty to do but will need transportation.

The bed had a lot to be desired, sunk in the middle and when you moved it creaked! Glad I only stayed 1 night!

Resort Fees... This is not a resort but a casino

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: The room was very nice though there wasn't a coffee machine. The people I met were quite nice.
Cons: Remove resort fee. I would never go there again or recommend it due to that.
Location: Not sure what to say. I'm a tourist and spent most of my time at Red Rocj Canyon. I
Getting a great deal is not a great deal when they charge you an extra $15US a night as a 'resort' fee. Free long distance calls mean nothing when you are from Canada. I enjoyed the pool for 30 min out of 3 nights. And only getting basic wifi for that 'resort' fee is a joke. I couldn't even Skype. / FaceTime my husband unless I bought the upgrade. I was aware that I might incur the resort fee but remained hopeful it they were included in my original payment. I was wrong and quite disappointed

Well-run hotel with friendly, efficient staff.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room; no surprises. Good selection of restaurants, etc. Not sure what the area is like, but the hotel offers everything you need for short stay.

Nice room, great staff, delicious food.

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: A little hard to find because of map directions.
Texas Station is not on strip, but it has it's own cinema, bowling (very nice) and gambling. The restaurants were good and staff excellent. We will be back.

Better than expected

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: Clean and variety of food on the property
Cons: it does appear a little dated
Location: it's not on the strip, but perfect for my purposes on this trip
We weren't in Las Vegas to gamble or play on the strip, so the Texas Station did just fine. The rooms were clean, there was security at the entrance to the rooms from the casino, and there was a nice mix of available food on the property. If it helps, I wouldn't be afraid to bring my wife here if we do a similar trip. BTW, I have no complains about the casino itself, I did have some time and didn't have any problems finding games to play.

Texas Station visit

Hotel has a little of everything with great range of restaurants, gambling, starbucks, and movie theatre. Neighborhood and clientele very blue collar, but always felt safe. Might not be brand new, but it actually kind of fits with the old west motif. In the end, you can't beat the price.
