Great locationPosted Feb 27, 2014
My boyfriend wasn't happy with the room, it was quite small, the floorboards were squeaky and the decor was old fashioned. Personally it didn't bother me, we weren't there to stay in the hotel we were there to see London and the location of this hotel made that so easy. Very close to two tube stations and 5-10 minutes from Hyde Park. Very affordable for the area it's in. Would stay again if there were only two of us, bigger groups may need to look elsewhere

Good alternative to staying in a hostel! Private rooms for a very reasonable price.

Handy hotel in West LondonPosted Jan 31, 2014
Pros: Cheap, decent breakfast, handy for Central London, friendly staff, room small but clean, bathroom fine
Cons: Windows could do with a clean ( on outside ) but no major issues.
Location: Handy for Central London and Queensway / tubes.
I wanted a cheap but decent quality hotel to spend a night, nothing fancy as only "resting head and parking bags" for one night.

It was ok, however the reception said it was the hotl policy not to hand out irons. I desperately needed an iron. The dry cleaning service option wasnt availible to me as i had to leave and come back after their opening hours.

AwfulPosted Apr 10, 2013
Cons: the sketchy rooms in what seemed like a sketchy neighborhood.
This hotel was awful. I'm glad I was only there for one night. The room was crazy hot and there didn't seem to be a way to turn it down. The room was really run down, and basically had cots instead of beds. It was shabby and run down. I know I'm a girl traveling on my own, but I didn't feel safe in that hotel and I've stayed in a few others and was fine. The guy at the front desk SEEMED helpful when I left but I know that he gave me the wrong directions to the subway. I followed the GPS on my phone instead of listening to him because his directions seemed a bit wrong and boy were they. I didn't have breakfast here because i left at 6:30am and breakfast wasn't until 7. I dread to think what it would have been though. I wouldn't stay at that hotel again if you paid me.

Dreadful hotel for a familyPosted Apr 8, 2013
Cons: Room size, so so breakfast
Location: The location is good. Between Bayswater and Notting Hill. That's the only good thing I can tell about the hotel.
Our stay was below any possible expectation. The room was incredibly small and it was supposed to provide sleeping accommodations for 3 people. Did you ever go to the bathroom and/or take a shower in the small closet? You may stay in Wedgewood if you want to experience extremes. Not for me - never again.
