Pros: Location and shuttle bus to airport

Nice Hotel Close to Airport

Location: Very close to airport
Front desk staff was nice and attentive. The lobby smelled nice, the room was clean and comfortable its not a brand new hotel but its very well kept and clean. We went for breakfast the next morning at the daily grill that's inside the hotel and the service was horrible! we got dirty cups for our coffee and table spoons instead of tea spoons, we didn't get refills on time, we didn't have enough silverware and napkins for our table until I asked the server and we got our check before getting our pastries. That was the only down side about our stay here. Regarding the hotel everything was good we forgot to pack our toothbrush and toothpaste but the hotel provided us with complementary toiletries real Life saver :-) we would have bought some if they were not free but it feels nice that this hotel have this nice attention to guests. But what I liked the most about the hotel is the LATE CHECK OUT til 3:00pm That was amazing! don't eve change that. Next time I travel I will definitely will be looking for a westin hotel. THUMBS UP!

Bathrooms disappointing

Cons: Truly redo the bathrooms. Tear out the tubs. Put in a fan. Give fresh towels when freshening the room, and new shampoos. We stayed several nights
Location: Near LAX. Perfect.
We arrived at this LAX Westin late 1am and found our room in great condition. Greeting at the front desk was a bit chilly. I am not sure why as there were several people working there. It wasn't like we were the only ones checking in, and I am also sure since this is near an international airport that late check in happens ALL THE TIME. However, I have to say the beds were glorious and the room had no bad smell, as so often is found with leftover smokers. What was sad was that the bathrooms still had the small white tiles and old 70's style tub fillers, which had never been changed out. The shower heads had been swapped out. But the tiles were still the originals and you have to step into a tub to take a shower. The grout had black mold and there was no fan to turn on to air out the place. The bathroom door had to be propped open as it always shut behind you....(?) I didn't want the mold cleaned while I was staying there for the 2 days as I didn't want to disturb the mold spores and send it flying all over my stuff. I did alert the desk upon checkout. They "thanked me for the heads up." No discount was offered. It is doubtful that room 903 has been scrubbed of it's black mold, to this day. Overall the main of the hotel areas are gorgeous and well done.

Horrible overall - stay somewhere else!

Pros: Close to airport - but so is the Custom, so why stay here?
Cons: Stop price gouging everyone, do something about the water temp, etc.
Location: Nothing nearby, except airport.
Quick list: - crazy expensive parking and examples of "price gouging" throughout the hotel - kennel outside of window ... the dogs started barking at 5am and continued every second until around 9pm EVERY DAY. Don't think you are going to ignore this! - Water had 2 settings: scalding or off. No exaggeration. - great example of "service"... called down for room service one night, hotel told me they were "...out of food". What? Just overall not a good experience, and much more costly than the rate leads yout o believe it will be.

A nice LAX hotel

Pros: The location, the value, the comfort of the beds, and the complimentary and frequent shuttles to the airport.
Cons: The hotel could benefit tremendously by having the entire duct system thoroughly cleaned, this would probably fix the heavy dust and vent mold problem
Location: Great location on W Century Blvd, far enough away from the airport to get out of the congestion of LAX but easy access to the 405 Frwy. Close to LMU
I have stayed at this hotel many times because if it's close proximity to LAX and LMU. Pound for pound I believe it to be one of the best values in the area. The facilities are very upscale on the first floor and the restaurant is vibrant. The beds in the rooms are extremely comfortable but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The room was extremely dusty and there was an old baby bottle trapped between the matress and the wall on my bed. Great views of Western LA from the North side of the building and the bathroom was clean with a nice overhead shower head...

Dated, dirty and dingy

Location: Taco bell and dennys opposite, free shuttle to airport to catch the bus to Venice Beach
Found the decor in the room to be quite dated and the room felt run down. There was a lot of dust around and when the sheets were pulled back there was a filthy underlay caked with hair and paticles as though it had never been changed. The whole room felt very unclean and stuffy. Staff weren't overly helpful on arrival, or ready to offer any information on how to access transport. Free wi fi in rooms was a bonus and the bar & grill was very good, staff in there extremely polite and friendly. Location of the hotel not bad. Negatives outweighed any positives and would not stay there again.

I wish WIFI can be free of charge in our stateroom, and so that would be more convicient for travellers and foreigners, especially a hotel nearby an airport.

Great hotel , close to the airport.

Pros: Stayed there as we had a flight next day. Left car at Enterprise at Airport just a few blocks away. Enterprise even gave me a lift back to the hotel
Cons: no
Location: Lots of places to eat nearby and airport shuttle is the main reason we chose this hotel. Perfect for last night before flight.
Stayed one night, 2 adults & 2 kids . Stayed in a double room - 2 twin beds was perfect. Hotel is modern & well run , everything works as it should. Nice bar - did not eat there . Went to Dennys diner across the road , basic diner but great food at a good price. Some noise from planes as it is close to the Airport , not really a problem though. Good price compared to others we stayed in around LA . Better than some that were quite a bit more expensive.

Pros: Not much at all.
Cons: Prices in restaurant, need to update rooms and clean them better.
Location: Location was okay if you had to be in LA.
Room not cleaned very well. Room was dated. Restaurant pricey for value. Left notes asking for coffee, creamer and sweetner everyday but never got all 3 so I would have to call for some or I would have to go round up what I could. TV channels not very good. Kids ran up and down halls at all hours of the night.
