Excellent location, lacks practicalityPosted Nov 14, 2014
Stayed for 4 nights in a large triple room with 3 twins. Very friendly front desk staff who gladly made us dinner reservations, but did not really understand how to direct us to toledo (30 min away by train) other than to sell us an actual tour. The room had a modern polish, a nice bathroom, and hard beds as others have noted, but lacked electrical outlets. There were 2 hidden electrical outlets in the room and both were located on the wall opposite the bed so there was no cell phone charging while using it as an alarm. And, only one outlet worked while the lights were off. When we called the front desk to make sure we weren't missing another hidden outlet somewhere we were told that the hotel did not have a lot of outlets in the rooms. No solution was provided even though we were obviously not the first to take issue with this. Staying in a room with 3 people meant 3 digital cameras, 3 iPads, and 3 cellphones that needed charging all from one outlet. It shouldn't have been so complicated and inconvenient to charge our gadgets while we slept. The room was also very warm and we could not adjust the temperature. However, the location is perfect for sightseeing in Madrid and basically a 15 min walk or less from almost anywhere in the city center.

Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast!Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, great location, good bathroom, big bed!
Cons: Definitely lighting in the bedroom particularly bedside lights but that may just have been our particular room.
Location: Fantastic central location, walking distance to most of the museums and galleries. Superb choice of places to eat literally on your doorstep.
Location is perfect for anyone who wants to see the museums, galleries, shops and other sights of Madrid. Most can be easily reached on foot. Dozens if not 100's restaurants within 200m radius of hotel so fantastic choice. Staff and particularly reception staff very helpful. We had 8 nights in one of the lower priced rooms which was adequate but not luxurious. Big bed, good bath and shower but lighting level a bit low and the strangest bedside lights ever! The room was on top floor and had Velux windows which added to dark feeling. However, that apart really enjoyable stay and would be very happy to stay there again. Buffet breakfast really good and worth every penny. One of my best hotels choices!

Can't judge a book by it's coverPosted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: The bellman was really nice and helpful. The room was large.
Cons: Better beds. Double paned windows. Better wifi.
The hotel looks nice. They offer "free" wifi. The rooms are large. Then you sit on the bed which is literally rock hard and feels like a box spring. The wifi signal is so weak that we had to go downstairs to use it and it was only marginally better. The terrific bellman told us quietly that the "free" wifi is really bad so you'll upgrade to the pay wifi. It was just disappointing because it looked so nice - better beds and better wifi would elevate this hotel.

깔끔하고 분위기 좋은 호텔Posted Sep 26, 2014 on Hotels.com

City Break to MadridPosted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: The staff were helpful and the location great for local attractions and restaurants.
Cons: The hotel should provide proper clothes storage for people staying more than one night, two chairs in a double room,a bathroom door that gives privacy
Location: The hotel is well placed for the local galleries, restaurants, plazas and shopping .
Stayed for 4 nights at Vincci Soho for a city break and was a bit disappointed to be honest . The room we booked was `a double room and we got twin beds, the room was overlooking a dead space between buildings and was a bit like staying in a box with no daylight, it was terribly dark and spotlights had to be on at all times to see anything . There was a glass door to the bathroom and if like me you get up during the night you waken the other person as the light shines into the bedroom and you hear everything .. There was no chest of drawers to put your clothes in,only one chair and the desk/table space was tiny and there was no local information provided for tourists. The hotel was really geared for business people and we even had to ask if we could use the bar/terrace as there were always conferences on in the public areas . The bed was comfortable but that was the only redeeming feature about the room. On the plus side the location was great for all the galleries, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. I feel this hotel would be ok for one night but unless there was a room with more light, clothes storage space ,maybe an iron /iron board and a coffee /tea machine I don't think I would book here again.

What a great place. The front desk was very helpful and great with all my questions. Love the design of the hotel and location. Walking distance to a very good area with shops and boutiques and restaurants. Great brunch! I was very pleased with the beds and bathrooms. Great amenities too.
