Great Location, close to airport and on the beach

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean, staff were helpful and polite. Wifi is a bit sketchy in the rooms, and works better in the lobby/bar. Good Breakfast buffet.
The hotel is being renovated, and the new rooms are quite nice, and open. The family room has doors that can open up or close off a private room for kids giving parents privacy as well. We chose the breakfast included plan (10E per person per day), but were unable to use it a few days as we left early on day trips so probably would just pay individuallyly for the days we use next time . There are plenty of great places to eat nearby to experience the Spanish cuisine such as The Spanish Garden across from the front of the hotel so not sure if Full Board would be recommended, but the hotel buffet was good for supper the one night we stayed in when it was raining outside (18E) . The usual put out the towels in the morning to get pool chairs, and every day we saw towels out that were never used, such a waste when limited space. They had exercise and spin classes at the pool , and entertainment in the lobby nightly. Make sure you find out when the happy hour time is for the pool bars and lobby bars as the drinks are 2 for 1 and a substantial saving. You still pay extra for many drinks even on full board. We really enjoyed the area of Torremolinos and Benalamadena and it was very safe even in the evenings. The day trips to Cadiz to the winery/horse show/boat trip, and day trip to Tangiers in Morroco (Africa) were good buys but try to split them apart a day or so. We booked online through Avitour. Go into the business district to shop. Hope you have as much fun as we did.

Hôtel Sole House Aloha

Posted Apr 16, 2015

Not as good as expected.

Posted Apr 12, 2015
We went to this hotel with great expectations ,with what other guests had said ,but I was sadly not happy .The hotel is very nice .The restaurant part was ok but spread out and I have been in far better .The pool area is very nice but the worst I have stayed in for reserveing beds , from early in the morning people was putting towels on beds 4&5 at a time but didnt lay on the beds until 3 or 4 oclock in afternoon , this is ridiculous .Right our room should not have been allowed to have guests in it , thats my opinion the floor was dirty , you got in shower asd as you walked round room to get ready your feet was black and needed washing again , toilet is so close to wall and door there is not enough room to get toilet roll off the holder , bathroom is tiny. Also there is a very loud generator noise from underneath that run all of the time and kept me awake a lot , also staff outside talking loud in the morning was annoying. There was no drawers in the room to put anything away so always looked untidy .

Modern,stylish hotel with good location.

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Modern decor, very comfortable rooms. Large pool area. Close to beach, bars, restaurants and shops.
Cons: As before, extra receptionist would avoid waiting time checking in.
Location: Virtually on beach, countless restaurants and shops on promenade. Short walk into marina and Benalmadena, but long walk from Torremolinos town centre
Excellent hotel, practically on the beach. Good security, clean and well kept despite ongoing renovations. Free wi fi was a bonus. Large choice of dishes at breakfast. Reception very busy, especially in the morning, an extra receptionist would relieve this.
