Fun theme and very close to beach.

Forget about parking, u either pay $35 for valet or $30 the next street over. Street parking available only till 3am. Free happy hour from 7-8pm, vodka rum and gin w/ either juice or soda, no special cocktails. Fun atmosphere but rooms seem a little old, my room was in another building but owned by the Catalina. The room was dark and the windows could've been cleaned. Other than that it was ok.

とてもひどい対応でした

Posted Mar 4, 2015

Great location, fun atmosphere, friendly staff

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Location, Bamboo Pool, Lobby and Outside Seating. Fun atmosphere.
Cons: Resort fee includes two chairs at the beach across the street but the umbrella is $15 extra. A little much.
Location: We walked to everything. The beach and boardwalk (that goes on for miles) is across the street. Ocean Drive is about 5 blocks. Lincoln Drive close.
I stayed here with two of my kids and we loved the hotel. It is fun and welcoming - lots of seating out front and in the lobby. Clean, modern rooms. Bamboo pool and comfy lounge chairs (beds really) and a rooftop pool. The staff was always smiling and friendly. Music playing in the lobby where there is a bar, but the rooms were very quiet. Best location. It is a few blocks from Ocean Drive and right across the street from the beach. Lincoln Avenue shops and restaurants are two blocks away. We rented bikes one block from the hotel.

Love it! Can't wait to go back!

Posted Feb 26, 2015
I loved my entire stay. The staff was great, everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff. I want to thanks Douglas, the bartender and Mauro the restaurant manager for their amazing service. Hotel Catalina has lots of perks, like free wifi, free shuttle service to and from the airport, and most importantly FREE Happy Hour. One whole hour of free well drinks! In regards to the room the space is great, definitely bigger than NYC, plus we had a cute balcony with it. The pools are also a great plus. The roof top pool is great for tanning, the atmosphere is very energetic. The restaurant food is average but, the ambiance makes up for it. I can't wait to go back.

Decent hotel in a good location.

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: The location was excellent.
Cons: I think it needs some updating.
Location: We enjoyed the boardwalk located one block away, as well as the beach. The shopping district was very close. There were many restaurants/bars nearby
The location was excellent. We were very close to Lincoln Ave. and the Art Deco district. We were pleased to be only one block away from the beach. The staff were very efficient, polite and helpful. Our room was very small and stark. There was not much room for storing clothing so we found ourselves tripping over luggage and furniture. The building we were in did not have a pool so we had to go to another building to swim. They did offer towels and chairs for the beach which was convenient. It was our first trip to Miami and we enjoyed it. If we go again I don't think we will stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel, noisy guests

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Decor of suite. Close proximity to beach/shopping.
Cons: Security in the hallways through the wee hours of the AM.
Location: Shopping/beach/food are all very close by.
Stayed in a suite in the building with the sushi restaurant (forgetting the name of the building at the moment). Room was nice, updated decor. Spent most of the night awake with noisy, obnoxious guests staying on the same floor as us. I realize that the hotel is not responsible for the clients that stay at their resort, but this ruined my evening. Another good thing to note is that there is Karaoke in the main building until the wee hours of the evenings. If you are staying on the first floor - you won't get any sleep in that building either. I realize we did stay in South Beach Miami which is known for partying and night life...but we had a 30 hour running event the next day and our team started it sleep deprived because of our evening at Catalina. Positive note - the staff are excellent! Check in was a breeze. Concierge took our luggage so we could explore South beach before the check in hours. A+ to the Catalina Staff.
