We ended up being stranded in Munich extra days due to an unprecedented snowstorm. The staff went above and beyond to make us and other stranded guests as comfortable as possible.

Loved the location of this hotel! Extremely quiet street but minutes from everything you need. We had a bunk bed “train” room. Beds were a bit hard and more hooks to hang up things would be useful as floor space is tight. But it worked and the location and friendly staff more than made up for any room shortcomings. Also excellent shower and hot water.

I loved staying here. Arrived by train and walked to the hotel. So much to do in close proximity. Very walkable and easy access to transit all over the area. Room was clean. No AC so it could get warm but I was there in Oct and weather was perfect.

This is a very cute hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is located just out side the old town of Munich so it's perfect, close but not so close you have to deal with the noise and crowds.

Very nice hotel with excellent customer service
I am enjoying my stay very much. Room is small but has everything needed including a fridge, robe and nice toiletries. The location is fine though not as close to the river as hoped. It’s still walkable (about a mile). Check in was fast, they placed my bags in my room and desk attendants have all been very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel close to the central station and connected to the old town by a pedestrian street. The sleeper car decor was charming and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Great location - convenient for taking the tram or subway to different parts of Munich, and easily walkable to city center. This room type is on an upper floor so you have a nice view and very little noise. No A/C, but there is a ceiling fan and the evenings are quite cool in late June/early July. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay here!

I had a great couple of nights at Hotel du Train. I loved the concept, the room does look like something from a 1930s train! Spotlessly clean, beautiful decor and furnishings, good quality bedding and towels. complementary bottled water and toiletries - the room had everything I needed. No air con, but nice ceiling fan, which was fine for me on a warm night. The bed was very low down but comfortable. Location was perfect, a 5-10 min walk from the Viktualienmarkt and Marienplatz. The area felt safe. There are apartments opposite the hotel so a little general noise in the evenings but very quiet overnight. Check in was speedy and efficient, staff were always very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect location for our 5 night stay in Munich. Close to the sights, good restaurants and convenient to train station. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Friendly, helpful and took great care of us. Will definitely stay again on future visits.

Had a great stay. The train theme was fantastic. The staff was lovely and spoke some English which made things nice and easy for my group. It’s very walkable from the central train and there were some other close spots to get around.

Wonderful and very quaint hotel is also stylish and unique. The rooms are small but very cozy and there is so much to do in Munich that you may not be in them that often. The best thing about this hotel though is it's amazing staff! They all are very helpful not only in regards to any issue that may concern the hotel, but also in information about sightseeing, public transport, popular venues, directions how to get to a desired location etc. Roxanna is the kindest and nicest person I encountered in Munich!

The hotel is family run and if anything is missing they are there to help. Orient Express style super clean quiet. The lady owner is beautiful and adorable. It was my first time in Munich and the hotel , a boutique hotel is more central than I even realized. 5 min to Marienplatz, 2 from Karlsplatz and frankly attached to Sendlinger Tor. You can even walk to the main station! Plenty of restaurants but they close too early ( 10 pm) as I came from long trips and I wanted to eat late. But the hotel I think it is also Munich Heritage hotel!!! 10 stars
