Perfect for Lincoln CenterPosted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff
Cons: Figure out how to leave a little of the room to the guest. The closet, tiny to start, has a shelf across the whole thing so that coats and long garme
Location: Lincoln Center, Central Park and a very short walk to mid-town.
Everything was great except for the closet. No place to hang along garment.

posizione davvero eccellente! pieno centroPosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: servizi a pagamento in camera poco armadio infissi tenuti molto male

Nice hotel close to Central ParkPosted Dec 17, 2014
Loved the location of this hotel. It was a $7 cab ride to Times Square & Rockefeller Center. Short walk to Central Park. The hotel lobby is beautiful with a nice bar. We unfortunately didn't get to check out the rooftop. It's closed Monday/Tuesday's and had Christmas parties the rest of our stay. The room was small, but clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Pros: Location near the park/Lincoln Center
Cons: Consistancy of towel, washcloth, floor mat replacement. It was hit or miss. Some days all were there and others one or more item(s) were missing.
It was good over all. One thing I did not like was the $7.50 charge for a bottle of Fuji water. You can by a whole 6-pk of Fuji for $7.99 at the near by grocery/deli. $4 a bottle would have been better; you would still make an excellent return on the water and probably sell a lot more. Try making the in-room items a bit less expensive and you will turn this into a profit center. On the day of checkout the housekeeping service banged on the door @ 8am. No other time during our 4 day stay did we experience this. Could have done without this.

It's the little things...Posted Dec 15, 2014
...that make this perfectly situated, potentially nice hotel unpleasant. First the good: rooms are small but not uncomfortable, and clean enough for me. I wanted to like this place. But everything else worked against me. The "view" of an airshaft would have been improved by a piece of wall art. Every item not nailed down is surcharged, from the $7 bottle of water to the $3 cup of in-room coffee. WiFi is surcharged even in the lobby. These are small flaws. Bigger was the broken drain in the sink, the peeling paint on the bathroom door, and - saving the worst for last - the shower with no door and a poorly aimed rain head that soaked the floor out to the room carpet. I put down towels to keep the puddle from leaking onto some poor family's heads below. One night was enough.

Good hotel, great location, tiny roomsPosted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: location, bed, decent restaurant on-site (Ed's Chowder House) that had great deals on fresh shucked oysters.
Cons: Tiny room, needs better sitting chair, and should have free wifi. i guess you could go to Starbucks down the street but whats the point of that?
Location: Great location near Columbus Circle restaurants, shopping and subway line. Right across street from Lincoln Center
Not much of a view from my tiny room but it is Manhattan and I didn't expect much. Good bed with decent pillows but I don't get them not using a sheet, just the comforter. Not much of a sitting chair. The bathroom was fine but so small you have to close the door to sit on the toilet. Great location close to Columbus Circle and subway. Right across from Lincoln Ctr.

Perfect location for Lincoln CenterPosted Dec 12, 2014
We love the location. However if you are on business trip there are other hotels which offer free Internet and more room to work. Free internet was offered in the lobby which turned out to be out of service. Great Hotel for the Opera not a good choice for business.
