A quirky hotelPosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: See the above. Also not too far from a Metro station which takes you into Manhattan in 20 minutes.
Cons: The lobby but then that is the shape of the building. There are no safes in the rooms and no safety deposit boxes at reception.
Location: There is nothing much to do in the immediate vicinity but there are shops and restaurants not far away.
The hotel is a little unusual. When you drive up to it, you think that cars will be parking in the lobby. The hotel is a tall non-de script building next to the taxi depot and Staples but, for New York the rooms are a reasonable size with all the necessary facilities. There is no lobby as such but who needs one anyway? Parking is free but spaces are limited. There s free on street parking round the corner.

Never again!Posted Jul 4, 2015
Reservation difficulty. The woman waiting on us could not have been more rude. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Shower was not goodPosted Jun 21, 2015
The shower did not work properly; there was only steaming hot water. They transferred me to another room, and that shower had either steaming hot or freezing cold- no median. The hotel said they will give some credit, which is appreciated.

New York City TourPosted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The room was beautiful, and the amenities were great.
Location: Could walk to several eating places, shopping, a park, and just stroll through beautiful neighborhoods and parks. Very safe area.
*Originally chose this facility because it offered free on-site parking for my vehicle. Was easy to locate.
