Great hotel! My only complaint is that the beds are not that comfortable. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are clean!

I would not recommend

Posted Apr 2, 2015
This hotel is very run down on the outside and, although the inside has been remodeled, the double double room was very very small. Considering the rate paid, I'm sure I could have stayed in a much nicer hotel.

Dear O, I apologize that your stay experience was not as expected. Due to our boutique nature, our rooms do tend to be smaller than the average size hotel. Your comments concerning our outer appearance have been noted and I am pleased to say that we are in the process of working with a new landscape company and we have plans for additional renovations within the year. I certainly hope that you do try us again, as I am sure that your experience will be more positive and we will do everything we can to assure you a wonderful stay. Thank you again for your comments.

Nice hotel, close to highway

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: Nice restaurant, covered parking, clean enough for the most part, neat and uncluttered. Plenty of room and two beds in the room.
Cons: Floors of room didn't get swept each day, a lot of housekeeping noise from the corridor and the room air conditioner was quite noisy when it cut in.
Location: Easy access to highway and surface roads to Needham and Wellesley with many excellent restaurants
Stayed here while visiting student at college nearby. Expedia price was good for this time of year. We only used the restaurant once for breakfast, but it was nicely prepared although the service was a little slow so recommend to allow extra time if you have a deadline to be somewhere else.

Indigo was a really pleasant surprise, excellent room, bed, service, dining, highly recommend. PS, chose it as I drove from Maryland all electric, and their EV charger worked well. A winner.

Convenient to T and affordable

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Nice design, good water pressure and large shower, comfy bed. Convenient to the T, especially if the weather is nice. Affordable.
Cons: Slow elevator. Guy who checked us in was pleasant enough, but could stand a little grooming. First impressions are important in public service.
Location: Short walk from last stop of D train on Green Line. Near Newton Ctr, short ride to Kenmore, Fenway, Chestnut Hill, and into the Back Bay.
In town for a single night for a Saturday night even and had no trouble reserving the room for one night. Affordable (especially in the Boston market) w/ free parking. Easy on/off the highway. Staff was pleasant and check in/out was quick, at least at our arrival and departure times. Very clean room w/ a comfortable bed, big shower w/ great water pressure, water that stayed hot and Aveda bath products. Good curtains kept it nice and dark in the morning. Requested a rm a distance from the elevator and the stairwell door and got it. Free wi-fi worked fine. There is a restaurant downstairs, though we didn't use it. Also, for nice weather there is a pool outside surrounded by a large seating area. Conveniently located a short walk from the end of the Green D (Riverside) line of the T, where there are ticket machines. Would stay again.

Convenient location

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Employees I encountered were very friendly. The room was clean and in good repair.
Cons: The bathroom is real small. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible. Recessed ceiling lights, no vanity lights.
I was in town for a hockey game at Boston College. This hotel is very convenient as far as location goes. The room was more like what I would expect in NYC, very small room. The room had very confusing light switches just inside the door. Three switches, one large and two smaller. Nothing was labeled. One combination made the bathroom light come on, one made the hall light come on and one made them both come on. unsure why it takes 3 switches to make that happen.

Dear Michael, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay with us. I apologize for the confusion the light switches caused. There is a main switch that the two other switches (bathroom & room) are supposed to sync up with. I apologize that they were not synced and labeled in your case and caused some confusion. Again, thank you for the comments as it allows my management team know what areas to work in. We look forward to hosting you again when your travels bring you back to our area!

Stellar in almost all respects. Would say the restaurant for the price does not quite fit into the 5 star category.
